Ideally situated for exploring the best the Margaret River Region has to offer.

A visit to Hamelin Bay retreat
Beautiful setting close to Hamelin Bay beach.Enjoyed a wander around Karridale Cemetery. A visit to Augusta town, surrounds, lighthouse and fish and chips at the boat harbour make for an enjoyable visit.

Lovely clean and peaceful
Lovely peaceful and very clean property. The owner obviously cares about this property and cares about creating a lovely space for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Close to Augusta for those looking to check out the region. We loved it and definitely recommend. Also love the DVD collection! Thanks so much for having us at this lovely property.

Hamelin Bay Retreat was ok. I feel it needed to be a little more cosy. A little coffee table would have been nice and maybe a bigger sofa. Had problems with the TV, worked one night, not the next. The steps were a challenge as well. Would not stay more then 2 nights.

Great Spot !
While the stairs were a little daunting at first, the result was well worth it as the Hamelin Bay Retreat felt like a tree-house and was absolutely beautiful.

Small retreat
Lovely litlle property withall mod cons.drive way can get a bit hazardous for a small car due to sand. Close to hamlin bay cozy corner and augusta. Loved the extrawildlife in bathroom mainly ants. Had a great time.

Good location for short stay
Good location for access to Hamelin Bay, Matgaret River, Augusta. Comfortable apartment. 40 odd Steps up to apartment would not be suitable for elderly.

Very clean studio. Could benefit from some added character … lamps… artwork… a nice inviting sofa and rug… a little sterile. But very neat…TV and dvd very hard to use and very little phone service..

Hamelin bay retreat weekender
Well designed and well equipped holiday escape - perfect for a few days away from it all . Quiet deck area overlooking tree tops. Just 2 k to Hamelin Bay and great to use as a base to travel to Augusta or Margaret river, but property is fairly remote so suggest you take food essentials with you. Host has provided everything else ! Easy checkin process and host very helpful. There are some roadworks on the access road but this did not disrupt the stay .

Peaceful rest
We had a very pleasant stay at the property. The only thing we can fault is the hot water. it runs out really quick. Wont be able to wash hair and be in warm water or do dished and have a shower as there wont be enough for both.

Beautiful Winter Getaway
We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. This beautiful location is stunning for a winter getaway. We spent two nights nestled within the trees listening to the rain. The cabin has everything you can think of from DVDS to a dishwasher. Only bummer we found the hot water doesn’t last long enough for two to have a shower but maybe I was taking too long washing my hair! The owners are amazing to communication with and I was so lucky they were understanding when booking this location. Thank you again for a great stay

Nice but left disappointed
The cabin was as expected, quaint and tidy. Was a cute cabin with a nice boardwalk leading up to it. Check in was easy. The negatives: quite a lot of the lights on the boardwalk were blown and not working, thank god I had a flash light or I would’ve fallen off. Also, there is NO railing on the boardwalk, thankfully I didn’t bring my young kids or they quite easily could’ve fallen off. For my two night stay I paid just shy of $500. For this I’d expect a bit more. There was old everything….tea/coffee/sugar (all random packets that look like they’d been collected over the year) no milk offered apart from some old gross powdered stuff 🤮random old cuppa soups left there presumably by past guests 🤷🏼‍♀️ the tv was TINY and offered no Netflix or digital tv. Luckily my partner is tech savvy and knew which chords to change around to make things work….come on for that price invest in a decent tv!!!!! The bed was hard and uncomfortable 😳 I don’t mind spending the big bucks when all my needs are met….I’m still not sure why it costs so much.
