About this property

Bluff Cottage - authentic 50s with a retro vibe

Fully self contained, furnished and renovated interior, Bluff Cottage is a very comfortable 50's style white painted cottage with baby blue and baby yellow trim!

The Cottage sleeps up to 3-6 people, depending on visitor bedding requirements. All beds a Queen size, with one in each of the two bedrooms and the third behind a curtain for privacy in the sunroom/sleepout.

Open plan dining/living area is spacious and with well equipped kitchen adjoining. A single bathroom has both a shower, separate bath and vanity. A separate toilet adjoins.

The location is quiet and in an elevated position directly over the road from Bluff Rock Reserve, the least known of the four peaks of Albany. Plenty of outdoor space surrounds the cottage and off-road parking provided.

Beautiful Middleton Beach, the Albany CBD and Princess Royal Harbour are between 5-10min away. Naked Bean Coffee Roasters (and Cafe) and the local Spencer Park Shopping Centre are both just a short walk away.

All that you need!

This house with its 60s vibe has all you need for an excellent stay. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was one of the best equipped we have had with plenty of glasses, crockery and bowls, etc. great location in Spencer Park near a reserve and only a few minutes drive from Middleton Beach and the golf course. Spotlessly clean with a good sized bathroom.

Quiet area out of town

Quirky home well decorated with 50’s decor & furniture . Plenty of space and comfortable beds. Oil heaters well received on arriving on a cold windy night. Not a big deal, but would have liked milk and shower gel provided. Overall a lovely place to stay. Thank you

Clean, comfortable and quirky.

We had a short but enjoyable stay. We loved the retro feel, the comfortable bedrooms and the fluffy white towels. It is very well maintained and nice and clean. Only two small criticisms (but not deal breakers), there was no milk in the fridge for a cup of tea on arrival and no soap provided for the shower. Other than that it had everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Bluff cottage Albany,

Do not judge the property on its outside appearance, it is clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, the beds are comfortable, if using gps be aware it may take you to address on the adjacent street.

Loved it from start to finish.

Old fashioned without modern furniture or features but very quaint and exactly what we prefer for a few days or a week or two away from home. We wouldn't look for another place if returning to Albany. Annie's place ticked all the boxes for us.

The furniture in the property blew me away, it is just so beautiful, put such a big smile on my face, albeit I'm a seventies child. Love the whole vibe of the house, plenty of room, everything you need, very clean, it was just ace. Will return next year for sure.

Quaint and well appointed cottage

Bluff Cottage is like stepping back in history with a modern twist. Beautiful retro furnishings and a well equipped kitchen made our stay just wonderful. The beds were so comfy and the cottage was always warm. Thank you Annie!

Loved our two week holiday in Annie’s cottage

First time in Albany and we loved having a beautiful fully equipped home as our base. Walking distance to coffee! A short drive to beaches, and town centre. Slept amazingly well on top class beds.

Great holiday home

Bluff Cottage is a great place to stay when visiting Albany. Annie is a wonderful host, super accomodating, and the cottage is lovely. Very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, and full of character. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfy and fuss-free stay in Albany

Cosy home

Had a great stay here. Home is cosy clean and close to everything needed ( fishing, ten pin bowling and town ). Just wondering why there is no pantry in this house.
