If you like being in the heart of the action, look no further!
This open and bright one bedroom apartment has you placed right on Acland Street. The apartment is in a secure building and has a great balcony to sit back and enjoy the view.
It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay.

PLEASE NOTE: Some plantation shutters have recently been damaged. Apologies for any inconvenience.

This contemporary one bedroom apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of the stunning "The Face" building.

Step into this well appointed apartment and feel at home with lovely fittings and furniture, and split system heating/cooling. A fully equipped timber veneer kitchen with Caesar stone bench tops and with all cooking utensils and crockery provided.

It has a sparkling tiled bathroom with European laundry.

Stunning views from the balcony with double glazed glass doors.

Secure video-com entry & lift access.

Secure onsite parking is available (for small to mid-sized cars) at $20/night. This is paid via EFT prior to arrival. Should you require parking please let us know in advance. Please ask us about alternate options for SUVs or larger.

This apartment has wifi!
The code is located on the bottom of the modem which is next to the tv.

Extensions
Please make contact if you would like to extend. Extensions are more than welcome, however just be mindful to give us 24 hours notice to avoid an additional cleaning fee of $50


On check out day, please remember to take everything you brought into the apartment and leave they keys on a bench top then lock the doors behind you.

Staying at St Kilda
This property was overall fantastic. It is located in a lively and extremely convenient location, on Acland street and next to Luna Park, the Palais theatre and a tram line there is always something to do. It really encapsulated the feel of St Kilda. The amenities were great and the host was amazing, I had an issue with the shower that was fixed almost immediately after communicating with my host. Would very much enjoy staying here again.

Disappointing
The location was great and the view pleasant. However, the bathroom was very dark and had only one small towel rail. the towels supplied were very thin and scratchy. The door to the balcony was very heavy and difficult to slide open. One of the doors of the bedroom cupboards was held in place by only one hinge and was therefore a real danger of falling on top of anyone who attempted to open it enough to access the hanging space. The worst feature of the apartment (a misnomer, as we've stayed in motel rooms which were larger) was the parking, which was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to access. We paid $100.00 for this privilege and would not have chosen this accommodation if we'd been informed prior to our arrival. I would not recommend this "apartment" to anyone, especially at the cost for the week.

Great location, some issues.
We had a few problems in this VRBO. The area was wonderful and the view from the room was really nice. We were informed the day before we arrived that the washing machine was not working and would not be fixed for the time we were renting the unit. They offered to to pay for the washing machines (in the laundry across the street) if I saved the receipts. The dryer worked fine. The overall cleanliness of the unit was not very good. I had to rewash all the dishes, glasses and cutlery that I would be using. But then realized that there really was not the proper pans or utensils to actually make our meals. ( in all fairness they did refund us our cleaning fee) The real complaint of this unit is that I believe that a man must have designed it. Not enough space in the bathroom to have your belongings, the bathroom sink is really non functional (water everywhere) and there is only one small mirror over the sink. For future stays, I would ask for more towel (maybe ones that actually dry) more tea towel for the kitchen.

Perfect for us
This was a small but neat little place. We were out and about most of the time so really didn't need anything bigger. It is a busy corner and you do have McDonalds across the road but turn your chair the other way on the little balcony and you have an awesome view of St Kilda. A little noisy at night but we were so tired we slept easily and the bed was amazing! The host couldn't have been more helpful.

Wonderful stay!
I had such a great stay here!! It's very modern, in a convenient location, clean and comfortable. Joe was also a great host - He was accommodating and friendly!! Would recommend and will definitely return if I need to be back in St Kilda anytime soon.

Ticks ALL the boxes!
I needed something short term prior to my relocation to Sydney and this apartment was perfect. It was clean, felt like home and had everything you would need to be comfortable not to mention the location is fantastic. Joe was an incredible host. Due to being local, I didn't need information regarding the area but I was able to contact him at any stage to ask him about little things like street parking. On my visits to Melbourne I will be coming back to stay here or any of Joe's other properties, compared to other experiences via Stayz or Airbnb this is by far my highest rated/most memorable.
