About the home

“El Sueno” is a family friendly home in central Cowes, just 1.5 km from the boat ramp & beach, and a short walk to the restaurants, cafes and supermarkets of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The large open-plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with smart TV, DVD player & PlayStation 2), provides access to the rear Deck. A side hallway leads to Bedroom 1 featuring a TV, WIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet), Bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath & shower), a Laundry (with washing machine) and a separate Toilet.

Outdoor Areas

The covered Deck (with a gas BBQ, seating for 8 & a ceiling fan) overlooks the fully enclosed block which features an outdoor hot/cold shower. The double Garage has been set up as a Games room (with table tennis table), and the long driveway provides parking for 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat).

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen with walk-in pantry is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home features ducted heating and cooling throughout, and there is a ceiling fan on the rear Deck.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 3: One Single bed and one Tri-bunk

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

We stayed for a week. One of the best houses we’ve stayed in. Accurate listing. The house was well appointed. Close to amenities of Cowes. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

Beautiful beach house
Great family beach house. Wonderful open plan kitchen, dinning and lounge, our family had plenty of room to relax in. Kitchen was very well stocked, had every appliance you could want and even had basic pantry items like oil, sauce & serviettes. Kids had a ball with the table tennis table and outdoor ball games. Inside lots of board games for the whole family to enjoy too. We would love to stay again!

Absolutely loved our stay! Had the best weekend. Everything was great!
The house was so beautiful and clean! We had the best time cooking and the kitchen and pantry were stocked with so many great things! Location was great too, very short walk to the beach. Will definitely come here again! Highly recommend!!
