My girlfriend and i stayed here for a long weekend. The cabin was exactly how it looked in the pictures and the host provided very detailed instructions that were super helpful. We would definitely recommend and will be planning to visiting again soon!
We were able to get to the property about 30 minutes into the beginning of a winter storm. We enjoyed the beauty of the snowfall from inside this wonderful cabin. Great location and not too far from the valley. We also had two Elk walk through the yard. Huge fenced in back yard for dogs to explore.
Perfect for the quick getaway weekend with my doggies. Backyard was fully fenced so they could roam and play in the yard and that was great. cabin was clean and as described and cozy overall great experience and will book again.
Nice cabin like home in a quiet neighborhood. The loft is pretty small. You can't stand all the way up in it. Host was nice and good at communicating and checking in. Nice place!

This was a great getaway from the heat. The dogs loved the backyard and the elk visited the yard everyday - one day we had 25 of them. Just be aware that the elk do hop the fence, so you may want to check the backyard for elk before you let your dogs out.
Very clean and cozy cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. for cooking. Huge VHS library. We loved seeing the Elk pass through the front yard in the mornings.
This was our 2nd time staying here. It is a nice plan to go to get away from the Phoenix heat. The kids love staying in the loft and having the elk come right through the yard! This time we saw 5 babies, 1 teenager & 7-8 adults come through. The owner is very responsive and friendly. Would stay again!
Great location, in the heart of Pine! The Host made sure we got checked in ok, and was readily available to help answer any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!
Great cabin for weekend get away. Tucked away in the forest. Plenty of room for our family and our fur babies. Had everything we needed and place stayed warm and cozy while a snow storm hit. Would definitely stay again.
Our family really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and the host was excellent at communicating. Love that it was dog friendly. The only concern was the neighbors dog is right on the other end of the chain link fence and barked a lot at our dogs when they were trying to enjoy the yard. This is no fault of the owner but I wanted to mention it in case you have a reactive dog. Otherwise the yard was very big and our dogs (and we) loved it.
I stayed in this cabin last year with some friends. I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity this year to bring my mother up to Pune to enjoy ‘cabin life’ in Pine.
She was very pleased and at home on our stay. She enjoyed the relaxed, cozy feel of the cabin and seeing the elk come right up to the property every sunrise and dusk.
We had a great stay at the cabin! Elk came by a couple times a day to visit and munch on grass. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It rained and hailed pretty much every day, so we spent a lot of time inside the cabin. We were very comfortable and warm. The dogs loved running and playing in the backyard (when the elk weren't there first).
The host was very welcoming and responsive.
We would definitely rent this cabin again!
We searched and searched for fenced property and found this home. Very comfortable home, huge fenced yard, everything we needed was available. The house is at a cul-de-sac so there was no traffic at all. The neighbors were very friendly and especially the elk. Plenty of parking space for our two trucks with utility trailers, hauling two Polaris Rangers. Great place to stay!

Why they chose this property
This property was my grandparent's home and I fell in love with it when I was little. I would spend every summer up in the cabin because of the beautiful views and weather. I never got bored during my summer vacations at my grandparents home. There is plenty of activities to do. When my grandmother became ill, she stated in her will that the house will be passed down to me. She knew it would be a way to help pay for veterinary school. However, I do not have the heart to sell this home because there are so many memories. Therefore, I decided to turn it into a Vacation/Seasonal Rental. Any extra profit after paying for bills, will help pay my tuition in veterinary school.
What makes this property unique
My ultimate favorite features about this house are: the log cabin style, it has beautiful views, always has wildlife creatures visiting the yard, the cooler weather, and all the remodeling that my grandparents did by themselves.
