Blue Finn - 200 meters to Callala Beach

Blue Finn holiday house is located 200 meters from the white sands of Callala Beach. It is newly renovated mixing modern coastal style with a touch of beach shack charm. The house was first introduced to the holiday market in late 2014.

Blue Finn features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area. It is the perfect house with a warm and cosy feel that caters for family getaways or gatherings or just for two.

The configuration of bedrooms/beds is as follows:

MAIN HOUSE:

- Master bedroom with Queen Bed, walk-in robe and ensuite
- Bedroom 2 with double bed
- Bedroom 3 with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4)
- Bedroom 4 with double bed

SEPARATE ACCESS:

-Bedroom 5 with double bed.

The kitchen is new and fully equipped with a stove and an oven, a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, sandwich press and kettle. ! There is a covered BBQ area in the back yard.

There is a travel cot and a high chair in the house, too, for the little guests.
The main bathroom has a bath tub that is perfect for the smaller kids.

There is an air-con for the kitchen and lounge area; all bedrooms have fans.

If you must attend to some more mundane tasks, there is a washing machine and a dryer available, an iron and an ironing board, clothes rack and a clothes line outside.

There is a hair dryer and straightener available in the house.

There are three TVs in the house; a large LCD TV in the lounge and a small TV and a DVD player in one of the bedrooms. There is a stereo to plug in your iPod, iPad or phone. You will also find a selection of DVDs in the house. Both DVD players have USB ports. Wi-Fi and foxtel available.

The house is perfect for the colder months, too, as we have a lovely wood burner in the lounge area and wood available in the back yard!

There is plenty of parking available in front of the house and on the street. You can also park your boat in a lockable car port if you wish.

While holidaying in Blue Finn, you can swim, kayak, fish or boat in the pristine waters of Jervis Bay or just relax on the beach. Enjoy walks, cycling or golf. In addition, there are other activities nearby such as dolphin watching and diving.

Otherwise you might decide to have breakfast or enjoy the lazy afternoons on the covered entertaining area. For families, the fully fenced backyard is perfect for kids to play. Your four legged friend can come along too if they are well behaved and you just let us know.

* You can catch a ferry to Huskisson or book a Sunset Cruise with BYO wine and cheese
* Huskinsson Market is on every second Sunday of the month
* Less than 5 minutes’ drive to Callala Bay shops (IGA, butcher, take away shop, newsagent, pharmacy, bottle shop...)
* Woolworths, as well as a medical centre, is a short drive away at Culburra Beach
* Diving, snorkelling, seal dives and boat dive trips available in Huskinsson
* Dolphin watching cruises and other cruises available in Jervis Bay area
* Explore National Parks
* Further drive of 15-30 minutes takes you to more restaurants and wineries in the area

Perfect place for Perfect Holiday

We stayed 3 nights with family, was great to have short walk to the beach and shops were only mins drive. The house was very clean, open living areas, nice kitchen with everything we need. Quiet and well ventilated area with plenty of spaces to sit and rest. Bedrooms were all nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. Strongly recomend it!

Enjoyed our stay, nice and close to the beach. The beds were comfortable and clean would definitely stay again. The bbq was dirty and the tv in the main bedroom could not get normal tv the remote old and didn’t work very well, but everything else was great.

The perfect escape

Our families absolutely loved this stay. It was spacious, plenty of bathrooms lovely outdoor area with a bbq and firepit that we had marshmellows on with the sound of the ocean so close. The location of this property was the icing on the cake. Only a 2 minute stroll to the most beautiful waters i have seen in nsw. Explored the local beaches bays and rivers and had a little fish. We are looking forward to our future stay and have a few friends interested in staying at this property. Thank you again Helen.

Amazing pet-friendly house near Callala Beach

We had an awesome stay at Helena's pet-friendly home near Callala Beach. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of six, plus our furry friend Monty. We loved that we could bring our pet along and he had a great time too! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful Callala Beach. Helena was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again! Five stars!

The perfect beach getaway!

This property was everything that was advertised and more. The host was very approachable and accommodating. The house was so neat, tidy and fully equipped and the bed configuration catered to our large group very well, the location was a short stroll to the beach and there was plenty of parking for our large group. We especially loved the huge outdoor table which we gathered around each night. I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent accommodation and location

Blue Finn is exactly as described in the listing and was very suitable for our party of 10. All the rooms presented well and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was excellent for a beach visit and assuming you have a car, local facilities are not far away. Checkin was well described and easy to follow. We enjoyed two evening meals at the local club (10 minute walk) which accommodated our various food issues without a problem. All round we had a great time staying at Blue Finn.

Christmas in August

The property was ideal for a group of 10 people. There were plentiful supplies of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensil. When cooking for our "Christmas" dinner the gas BBQ in the back yard was handy for extra cooking space. the position was excellent as it was just a 10 minute walk from the lovely sandy beach.

The ideal retreat for a large family

Excellent, everything about it was great. Very easy to communicate with the owners, location was perfect, beach just around the corner and shops a few mins drive. The house was wonderful, clean and tidy and nothing to fault about it, wood heater was great and the fire pit outside was great. Bbq area was great, used it every day. Bedrooms were all perfect and plenty of room. Living room/area and kitchen were top shelf, Highly recommend as you won’t be disappointed, nothing to fault on this place at all.

Great house for a group, so close to the beach

The location of this house is great, just a few mins walk from the beach so we could go back and forth as we needed. The house is big enough for 2-3 small families with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and was very well equipped. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio will the kids played in the garden. Only thing is that the room attached to the patio is quite musty, but it might be the time of year given all the rain and the weather being still quite warm. Definitely recommend the house if you're a big group!

Plenty of space for the family

The house is a great option for several couples or an extended family as it has a number options for sleeping arrangements. As we had our friends join us, a couple, they used the outside bedroom with separate facilities. The master bedroom with a walk in robe and on-suit is the best! The house is also in close walking proximity to the beach.

Happiest family weekend even though the weather was average

Was a wonderful home. Very clean, very well laid out and beautifully decorated. Brilliant location to beach and everyone was extremely happy with the time we had which is amazing seeing the weather was very wet. My name is Helena and I am the owner and host for this little gem in Callala Beach. Having a place near the beach was a dream that became a reality in 2014. I am delighted to invite you to share the dream and enjoy our place in Callala Beach.

Why they chose this property

This property was bought from an elderly Italian couple who had extended the house many times as their family grew. The story goes that sometimes the original owners had as many as 22 people staying in the house! You will still be able to see some of the original features of the house that add to the beachy feel of the property. The final decision to buy this place was made following a walk to the beach - it was and always is a slice of heaven.

What makes this property unique

If you are wanting to escape your busy life for a little bit - Callala Beach is the way to go!
The house is renovated mixing a little bit of old and plenty of new, with the goal to capture coastal vibe around the place. This house is designed to be a hideaway that is comfortable, has all the essentials, is affordable, is very close to the water, has the option for pets to come along too and where people want to return over and over again. Hope you enjoy the house as much a we do!
