Lovely farm getaway
Whilst we only stayed one night, our time spent in the rustic, comfortable little cottage was relaxing and fun. The surrounds were spectacular- so green and lush with magnificent volcanic mountains. Our host’s recommendation for a local scenic walk/ bike ride was spot on. We had such a lovely time chatting with them and meeting their horses, cow and large family of goats. We loved our stay!

Cute little hidden gem!
Really just booked this as a place to break up a long drive up the coast, had no idea it would suit us so well! Charming little property, they had baby goats when we came to stay! One of them was super friendly and the kids were asking if we could adopt it :) Beds comfy, rooms decent enough size even though the cottage itself is a bit small, but so charming, and the back balcony was totally covered, so our labradors had a nice big covered area to sleep out of the rain on the decking. Will definitely plan to go again

Country hideaway
We enjoyed a quiet getaway in a very hidden farm cottage. A rustic cottage with all the basics and a lot of charm for those who love simple pleasures. Fenced in yard meant our dogs were secure and plenty of space for them to run and explore. A cosy fire, a few good books and the city stresses drifted away. Lovely beaches not far away or winding mountain roads to explore.

Wonderful
Enjoyed a 2 night mini-break with our 12 year old twins. So relaxing. Loved feeding the horses and the fire pit was great. Goats were the hit of the stay tho. Beds comfy, wonderful hosts. Surprised to have wifi (tho we chose to leave the tech at home). Will be back. Thanks Pamela and Andrew.

How's the serenity!
This holiday was just what we were after - a chance to unwind. Blue Hills Cottage is a charming little farm cottage, about 100 years old, but still has all the modern essentials. My daughter loved the animals (goats, horses, wallabies and a cow), my son loved the wifi (sigh!), my wife loved the goats milk and the fire at night, and I just loved sitting on the verandah and soaking up the natural beauty.

Tranquil country break
We stayed at this cottage for 2 nights, it is a very welcome break from city life. The cottage was left immaculately clean, it has a great location being close to a moving water stream which is relaxing to hear as you drift off to sleep and to listen to as you sit on the verandah, Communication was very easy with the host. Thank you for our stay.

Amazing space to rest and revitalise. Set in beautiful surroundings of natural wonders.
Quaint and simple homely space that is set in an inviting environment. Tall trees, wild grasses and Australian bush Animals greet you upon arrival. Pamela and Andrew have combined timeless pieces with distressed furnishings to create a real homestead stay. Surrounded with many quiet nooks to rest and relax and unwind. Trickling creeks surround the home and are heard while relaxing on the verandah's. The night sky is amazing to watch the stars shoot or fall. All the equipment you need to complete a break away from the big world is provided. With this in mind this stay is perfect for a short or longer stay to adventure the natural world and revitalise the spirit.

Private, sprawling farm-stay cottage
The charming, antique cottage is spacious and has all the basic needs covered. It has a great back deck beside the tranquil trickling flow of the stream. The fireplace kept us cosy through the winter night, and the goats and horses were friendly and delightful. Thanks so much for the welcoming and thoughtful hosts.

Country cottage with charm in sublime location
I was craving to get out of the bustling city & get back to my natural roots in the country. This lovely cottage was a fabulous fit, with everything I needed. Loved the big wood heater, the easy clean polished timber floors, the great outdoor veranda space, the well stocked kitchen with all the essentials. The farm animals were delightful & the views were gorgeous. The area was in the midst of a lots of dramatic mountains & valleys with streams & rivers dotted everywhere & the views were beautiful. This mini break really helped to revigorate me, which was exactly what I needed. The generous & considerate hosts (Pamela & Andrew) left me some fresh milk in the fridge, which was yum! Will return again some day & would recommend this humble little cottage to anyone wishes to get back in touch with nature (both within themselves & their surroundings). One more thing, I really needed my privacy as I was escaping city overload & needed a break from people to self reflect... and Andrew & Pamela completely respected that, which I was so grateful for. Thanks so much for a lovely holiday!

A tranquil recharge
What a 'breath of fresh air' ... literally it was to stay here. The cottage has an earthy simplicity, and we enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of God's beautiful creation pouring through every window and doorway. The multiple outdoor settings, made it easy to sit, read, and soak up the farm and environment. The hosts generously supplied fresh milk and allowed us to explore the farm and bush areas.
