This is a nice and cozy house with all designer furniture and comfortable bedding, white goods, kitchen appliances, utensils and crockery. Wonderful outlook, 130 square metres, 1 large air-conditioned bedroom with 1 Queen Bed and 2 built-in wardrobes, 1 bedroom with Double Bed and wardrobe plus a fold out sofa in front room that converts into a small double bed with storage dresser, 1 Luxurious marble bathroom.

Fully equipped kitchen featuring marble bench tops with dishwasher, microwave and oven. Plenty of crockery, cookware, utensils, glassware. Also Toaster, Coffee Plunger, Kettle, Sandwich Maker, Rice Cooker, and Nespresso Coffee Machine.

Affordable cozy stay in Sydney near Bondi

Great property overall. Two really nice bedrooms and a great sunroom living area. Was honestly shocked how cheap it was given a great neighborhood. My only feedback is that the "sofa bed" isn't really a bed - it is very small and could only really fit a small child. We had someone sleep on the living room couch instead, which was much longer.

The stay was very good . The weather was pretty warm and we found the second bedroom very hot . Maybe a fan could be installed to move the area around. Otherwise was a good position and we enjoyed our stay

Sydney/Bondi New Year Trip

Location perfect for Transport links around Sydney & Bondi.Facilities excellent, particularly in the Kitchen/Dining area.Could do with a deep clean and better windows, there was a bit of Road noise from outside but not too bad.Lights tripped occasionally but the Host sorted quickly.Overall great value for money for 4 of us for 10 days over New Year.

A great home base for exploring Sydney

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment was excellent. We especially enjoyed the Sun room and the lovely bathroom. The access to public transit was of great value. And the mall proved to be a helpful and fun resource. A great place to use as a bounce pillow to the rest of the city!

Nice property with updates

Property has been nicely updated. Very comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen and sun room/living area. Great location close to public transport. Easy access to Bondi Beach or city and Circular Quay. We would stay here again.

Stay in Bondi junction

Small yet stylish and comfortable! The kitchen was made useable even on a short stay with the essentials for cooking. The area was a little hard to get ubers with the traffic, but they were usually quick to arrive. Friendly and safe area, with a lot of shops nearby, and public transport.

Don’t ever stay here

This place is terrible. Roof leaked constantly. It poured out water down the walls, in living room and office. Birds constantly pecking at the Glass in the lounge room all day. Not only was the traffic noise from the street horrendous. The owner failed to mention it that there was roadworks right outside the front door that started at 9 pm till 1am for a week. The Bathroom is riddled with mould and the place just smelt bad. Avid this place at all costs.

Not what was expected

Unfortunately there were a lot of cockroaches, the aircon units were mouldy and the garden wasn't accessible. We couldn't even use the kettle as it gave off fumes that someone had cooked something inside it and it really needed descaling. The location was good and not a far walk to the shopping centre or the train station. Staying as a couple who are out all the time it would be more than fine but as a family not recommended especially if its hot.

Good location but needs improvement

It is a fantastic location, close to Bondi junction bus / train station as well as the strip of shops and a walk away from Bondi beach. A couple of things for future guests .. - the view in the living room is not as advertised, the trees have grown and there is now only a view of tree tops. - There is not a proper ceiling in the living room, it’s just glass and flywire type coverage so on hot days it’s extremely hot to sit in the living area - The master room mattress needs replacing, it is very soft and sinks in so you roll together. - The garbage bin is shared! When we arrived the garbage bin was full and we had to wait for bin day to use it. When we added our 1 normal bag of rubbish and 2 little bags of rubbish, we were then asked to remove one of the bags by the owner (who lives downstairs) and put it in a neighbours bin (which we did but it was very rude and awkward). The next morning the bin was full again with this persons rubbish. Really not ok for paying guests. The bin should not be shared we rented the whole residence. - The owner was abrupt when he saw my elderly parents entering the property one evening and scared my parents, they were just there to babysit for us one afternoon/ evening. This behaviour was not ok. Again we did enjoy our time but these few things took away from the experience.

Perfect Location

Highly recommend staying here. Everything Bondi Junction has to offer is a five minute walk. Buses and trains are close too. 30 minutes (at most) you're at Circular Quay. 15 minutes to Bondi Beach. Lastly, we couldn't ask for anything more from Lily. She is attentive and is available if anything should come up.

Well equipped property easy commute to City Centr

Well equipped accommodation, comfy beds and host very accommodating with great communication before and during our stay. The only downside was that the property was a little tired compared to the listed pictures. Small touches like repainting metal work on the conservatory instead of sticking white tape over it, trimming back the overgrown tree so the view was visible (as per the pictures) and replacing mouldy silicone around the (non functioning jacuzzi) bath would have made it perfect. Apart from these superficial things we enjoyed our stay. They kindly provided a travel cot for our little one on request, the coffee machine was appreciated and the location worked well for us.

Convienent location and great host

Great stay with the family. Really good location with transport, cafes, restaurants and shopping all within a short walk. Lily was able to organize a cot for our child which was greatly appreciated (one less thing to lug along)! It was really nice to see welcome chocolates and wine after a long trip from Singapore. Thank you!

A gem

The apartment is great, bright and sunny and so close to Bondi Junction, transport, and yet very quiet and comfortable. A lovely touch to find wine and chocolates on arrival!

Great Location/View but Property is Showing its Age

Property is a modernized old unit which is showing its age (can’t tell from the pictures though). The view from the Living/Dining Area is still fantastic with lots of natural light. Selected kitchen’s utensils/equipment may need replacement especially the frying pan. Also the door to the main entrance can only be locked/unlocked from the inside with the key…which pose a hazard if the key can’t be located in an emergency. The second bedroom does not have a HVAC unit…fortunately the host is able to deliver a portable heater to tie us through the cold winter nights. Overall still an enjoyable stay for our family. The property is a stone throw away from the main shopping area at Bondi Junction.

Nice house perfectly located to explore Sydney

A charming and spacious house in the typical style of those in the neighbourhood. The kitchen and living areas are on an open space with expansive views on the greenery, only downside being limited options to open windows and enjoy the fresh air. Interaction with Lily and Michael was easy and allowed urgent communication due to calendar confusion, which was promptly settled. Whilst it is possible to park in the street, a huge plus point is the proximity to Bondi Junction shopping mall and transport interchange, so do yourself a favour : leave the car at home and use public transport. Although we had not come to Sydney in years, it was super easy for us to navigate via trains and buses. Highly recommended !

I would stay here again

I was a little disappointed there was no smart tv as advertised. but they were receptive to suggestions and the mattress protectors that were made of plastic and were so hot. But overall a great place to stay and I would stay again.
