Modern Farmhouse- Prime location yet very private! 12 wineries w/in 1 mile

If you are looking for a slice of the country where you can visit the top wineries of the region yet get into town easily (no windy roads) or to the coast, all within 15 minutes, this is your place!!

Set a top 2+ acres, Jack Creek has sweeping views from the front and back. An open floor plan and a level yard with gated pool area makes this home ideal for families and groups alike. Whether you prefer taking a dip in the pool ( 22' diameter, 4' deep, OPEN JUNE 1-SEPT 1) , shooting some hoops, sitting on the bench swing taking in the vistas, or cozying up to a warm fire with some hot chocolate, this house has something for everyone.

Upstairs you will find a Master Suite with TV and a super comfy Cal-King bed with en suite bath. Two additional bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with two twin beds share a full bath. The 4th bedroom is downstairs, and has a comfortable (euro style) King sleeper sofa and easy access to a half bath.

Downstairs is a open plan, fully stocked kitchen and family room with sliding doors opening to the back yard, patio, grill, outdoor firepit and bar, hot tub and swimming pool with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.The family room has a fireplace and flat screen TV. A dining room connects the kitchen and front living room.

There are lots of toys, books and games available for kids, however all is put away to make this an adult only vacation home as well.

Set off the road, the property is private on all sides. This home provides that country escape feel, yet is close to everything you'd want to access on your vacation-wine, restaurants, shopping and beach. In Paso Robles, there are excellent restaurants and cafes, a brand new play structure in the square, summer concerts, farmer's market and great shopping.

Country escape

Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children (5yrs old and 5 months old)- everyone enjoyed their stay. The 5yo especially enjoyed the wildlife, the lizards in particular, and the pool. Excellent private location

Very comfortable for our large group celebrating our sons graduation from CalPoly. Spent a majority of our time outside enjoying the pool area, hot tub, and shaded dining area. Owner was very responsive.

Beautiful property and home

This house was the perfect long weekend getaway for my family (7 adults and one toddler). The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The property was beautiful and we had such a lovely time relaxing and enjoying the many amenities. On top of that, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Visited the Templeton house, again, and it was wonderful as always. Large house with lots of space inside and outside. The rooms are nice and cozy. The living room is spacious with space for everyone to hang out and be together. The outside area is so cute and perfect. The hot tub is amazing! Definitely recommend

Their house has everything you need! Pool solar heater works very well. House is well stocked with games. Beds are all comfortable. Kitchen meets all your needs. If you don’t want to cook, door dash works great too :). Highly recommended!

The modern farmhouse is a perfect place to stay. The home is cozy with plenty of space. The kitchen and living area are a great place to hang out with family and friends. The Jack Creek farmhouse was perfect for our group of 6 adults, one teenager, and one child. It has all the amenities you could ask for and was clean and inviting. The location is ideal but you are in the country with wonderful views. We would certainly come back.

A lovely weekend at a wonderful home!

The weekend just wasn't long enough for us! We loved the house. It worked so well for our group of 6 women. Except to visit a couple wineries one day, we never left the house. We had a great time in the kitchen and enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub. It had everything we could need and was cozy, clean and warm. We all agreed that we will be back - next time for a longer stay!

Beautiful slice of peaceful wine country

The home is in the midst of all the action while being secluded enough, you forget you're near so many things. We did the obligatory winery hopping and never drove more than 20 minutes to get where we needed to be. With it being in the country, you're in the middle of wildlife where some critters and birds aren't as shy as you'd expect. Kiara was very responsive to questions and had great advice for the local tips and tricks. We left wanting another day in Paso with absolutely no regrets spending a day at the house to read by the fireplace, lounge on the porch swing, or take a glass of ripple out to the fire pit. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible

We were in town for a memorial service for someone who lived just across the highway, a place we had lots of memories. I couldn't believe that the view basically looked directly at that property, but regardless the view is everything. Great communication, everything was labeled, toys for kids, we were so comfortable in the home and I would rent again in a heartbeat!

Amazing house, perfect for a large family or group of friends

We were a group of 5 adults, two kids and a dog who loved everything about this house. Fully equipped for everything we needed inside. So many fun things to do outside. A short drive to wineries, restaurants and groceries. I'd be hesitant to stay here in the hottest days of summer, but otherwise would love to stay here again and again.

Really nice change of pace.

We got to unwind and enjoy in a very nice space. The house worked well for us, our 2 daughters and son-in-law and dog. Cool at night and early am. Lots of space to spread out and relax. In the country but so close to wineries, food, gas, etc. Deer, turkeys, hawks - our closest neighbors!!

Beautiful home on large, private property

What a wonderful week we spent in this upscale, comfortable home. We enjoyed the pool, the spa, the porch swing, the fire pit, the basketball, the ping pong table, and just of the overall tranquility of the property. Owners were quickly responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed sampling several olive oils at nearby Pasolivo Ranch. Note: It’s a good idea to check if tasting reservations are required at the wineries.

Fantastic family get away!

We stayed the weekend with my family ages 5 to 70ish and we all had a fabulous time! Such a peaceful location but with the convenience of being very close to 46, making it possible to both relax at the house and also get to town for anything we needed.

Magical setting

This is a very nice home in a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed. Kiara was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable which I find very rare. The house is ten minutes from downtown Paso, Tin City and pretty much everywhere you want to go. The walks in the morning down the roads by the house were amazing. We saw one car. If you are looking for a lovely, very peaceful place to stay, I would suggest this one!

Great Location. Ideal Gathering Space

We really enjoyed our family reunion at this wonderful Jack Creek house. The location is lovely, quiet and surrounded with memorable postcard views from the well set up back yard. The house is cozy and very well provisioned. The kitchen is a joy to cook in (when not eating at the many nearby Templeton and Paso restaurants). The beds are really comfortable. The living room and sitting rooms are filled with games and really good books and comfy afghans to curl up in. Lots to do at nearby vineyards and towns and less than a half hour to some of the California coast’s best uncrowded beaches In the evenings it’s hard to choose between sitting around the fire pit under the stars or having family movie night (on a large Roku TV). Luckily we had a long stay. Highly recommend Sasha and Kiara’s house. They are great hosts.

5 of us stayed at the farmhouse and everyone loved it! Lots of amenities to enjoy if you stay home (jacuzzi, ping pong, fire pit, etc - even a meditative spot to reflect!), but also very central to the wineries we chose to visit and the trip to Cambria that we enjoyed. Excellent home! *do take note that one bedroom on the main floor is a pull out couch, which they have made more comfortable by adding mattresses, and a 3rd bedroom on the 2nd level has the 2 twin beds...and there's 2 showers total. This worked just fine for us :)

Bay Area / Southern Cal Family Meetup

Our family, split between Los Angeles and San Francisco, agreed to meet up in lovely Paso Robles for our first post-vaccination vacation. While the drive would not be described as short, it does leave a good chunk of the day to settle-in. The house itself was lovely, providing enough rooms for everyone to sleep and lots of different communal spaces for cooking, playing games, watching TV, swimming, etc, etc. The pool was exactly what our 6 year old needed, as it was just deep enough for him to feel safe everywhere, yet not so shallow that the adults couldn't keep mostly submerged. Proximity to amenities beyond the house was also excellent. It's within 10 minutes of multiple excellent wineries and a Trade Joe's. Downtown Paso Robles, with its multitude of restaurants is just 15 minutes away. And the ocean is just 40ish minutes away, perfect for a beach day. If we find ourselves returning to Paso Robles again, we would consider this house a top contender for hosting our family.

We have been visiting Paso Robles from the SF Bay Area for 10+ years, and more frequently in the past few years, as we are lovers of Rhone varietals. We are winemakers and wine enthusiasts, and have fallen in love with the people and raw beauty of the central coast. With world class wines, world class beaches, world class people and world class beauty--we realized we wanted something more permanent in the area.

Why they chose this property

This property literally checked every box on our list; from location, views, size and amenities. It's set on a hill allowing for breathtaking views front and back, it is in the country yet has easy and quick access to all the amenities and beaches. It doesn't hurt that it is off of the 46 west and Vineyard drive area, allowing for easy access to all the best wineries. We fell in love with the property and we hope you will too!

What makes this property unique

The star gazing is amazing! A summertime swimming pool, a circular driveway making it fun for kids to ride bikes and play (there's a low basketball hoop too) --and lots of parking. Lots of cozy places to relax, sip local wines, enjoy the sun and the views and spend quality time with loved ones.
