Pudding Hill Farm, a couples retreat, is nestled in the emerald landscape of Foxground Valley, less than two hours from Sydney and under three hours from Canberra. Its 10 minutes from the quaint town of Berry or the beaches of Gerringong and Gerroa. One of the hidden treasures south of Sydney, Foxground is hugged by the escarpment and encompasses rolling green hills, rich farmland, a beautiful crystal clear spring fed creek (Broughton Creek), peace and tranquillity.
We offer two cottages (Saddleback Cottage and Broughton Cottage) allowing you the choice of a relaxing couples getaway or book both cottages for two couples.
Our farm starts at the foot of the valley and stretches up into the rainforest, horseshoed by the escarpment and views of the ocean, it's the perfect setting to relax and forget about the demands of daily life. It's also a great base so that you can explore the local area, browse the shops and markets of Berry and Gerringong, engage with us on the working farm, visit the local wineries and top class restaurants….or do them all!
On arrival, you will be greeted with a cheese plate and locally produced wine. Our brand new cottages are beautifully furnished and have a self-contained kitchenette with enough equipment for you to stay indoors and not leave the farm. We will also provide a selection breakfast items such as cereals, fresh farm eggs, fresh milk, local bread, coffee (Nespresso machine) and tea.
We have alfresco dining with your own BBQ and numerous outdoor settings giving you the choice of ocean or escarpment views. Relax on the Adirondack chairs and read a book or snooze on the comfy daybed.
Other features include a digital TV with USB port, Bluetooth speakers to listen to your own music, a selection of board games, large bath including underfloor heating in the bathroom.
Enjoy the experience of more than 45 varieties of bird life and 22 variety of native animals. The local mob of kangaroos and wallabies will welcome you in the morning and late in the afternoon. Watch in the afternoon as the black cockatoos or flying foxes (this is how "Foxground" gets its Anglo name) glide majestically across the valley. You will be spoilt with the choice of watching the sun set across the valley or the moon rise.
