Sangria - holiday home

Sangria is only a 70 minute drive from Adelaide and is within easy reach of the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula.
With tranquil views of the stunning lagoon, River Red Gums and out to the River Murray, it is the perfect spot to relax with family and friends and enjoy the passing parade of boats, swans and pelicans.
Sangria comfortably accommodates 8 guests with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and a spectacular Red Gum dining table which seats ten people.
A large jetty overlooks the lagoon. The lagoon is ideal for fishing and kayaking but unsuitable for motorised craft.

What a wonderful place to spend the weekend. We loved our stay, whether we were spending some time inside in the cool or down by the river on the jetty, the whole place was lovely!

Sweet Sangria
My family and I spent a lovely weekend at Sangria. The house was a lot larger than we expected and had everything we needed. The view over the river was spectacular, especially at dawn. Mannum is a gorgeous little town and I hope to return some day soon. We certainly got a taste of the sweet life at Sangria.

Very well equipped house. Very clean. Wheel chair ok but bathroom doorways a little narrow. Host could not have been more helpful. Was sad that we could not get the wheelchair to the river bank and jetty to make use of the beautiful table and chairs right on the river. Bird life wonderful.

Magic on the Murray
The property was great - roomy & comfortable with everything we needed. The location, just 3km from Mannum was very convenient, but still very quiet. The stand out feature of this property is THE VIEW - it's amazing & visible from nearly every room in the house. I would also like to acknowledge & thank the host for helping us out & accepting our very late booking (our original booking was cancelled due to maintenance issues) Thanks Bev & we'll definitely be back to stay again

The property was very clean on arrival. The view was amazing. We were not close to all the noise of the Jetskis and boats. A good sized house for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. Provided linens made our stay easy and not having to carry much with us. There is a local Foodland which is equipped with everything that you would need. We stayed for 5 days and although our days were filled with seeing local sights the evenings we found not much to do. We would gather together on the sofas and watch movies, thankfully there were good movies on the tele. My one gripe would be that the TV aerial did not work very well and would pause multiple times with cracking etc. The family room's TV was way to small for a property that size. The cooker hob worked well, but the oven was very slow to cook and took over an hour to cook our hash browns!

What a lovely spot. No noisy neighbours terrific view across the water and everything you needed to have a relaxing time. We would have no hesitation in returning for another stay our only suggestion would be to get better tv reception as we could not get any channels. Brian & Linda
