"Russ Vegas" is a 2 bedroom waterfront home.
It is located right on the beautiful Canaipa Passage on Russell Island
Russell Island is nestled amongst the Southern Moreton Bay Islands just off Brisbane and is easily accessible by passenger ferry, vehicle barge or on your own boat.
There is a private high water concrete boat ramp that opens up the options of exploring Moreton Bay.
Or just simply fish from the front yard.
The home has all the mod cons, including BBQ, Stove, Microwave, dishwasher, washing machine as well as local TV and your favourite streaming services and finished with beautiful character timber floors.
Massive 48 square meter tiled deck to sit and enjoy the water views
It maybe on an Island but you have all that you would need as in an IGA, Servo and a RSL and Bowls Club that have tasty meals and provide courtesy bus services
Both Muddies and Sand crabs are awaiting you not to mention the prawns that run around Easter time
Bedding configuration is two Queen sized beds
Doonas, pillows, blankets, bath towels & tea towels are provided
BRING YOUR OWN Queen Sheets & Pillow Cases
Minimum two night stay.
Long Weekends three night minimum
Easter four night minimum
Christmas seven night minimum
Rates are from $175.00 per night (2 night minimum)
Please note as the property is waterfront it is not fully fenced.

Just returned from our long weekend at Russ Vegas. The experience was everything we had hoped for and more. Perfect setting to relax , unwind and enjoy the views. The home had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay.

Idyllic location
We rented the property for our visiting family and it was perfect. Although it is a distance from the ferry, it was an ideal place to stay and relax. They thoroughly enjoyed the location and the facilities and we also made use of the huge back deck and spectacular views.

Thank you Louise. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Location is great and view is spectacular. Though we didn’t use the boat ramp, two public boat ramps are only a short drive away. Bird life is abundant and though we didn’t see a dugong we did see plenty of turtles. Lovely neighbours next door. The house had everything we needed for an 8 night stay. The kitchen had plenty of utensils. Even a big pot to cook the crab we caught. Bed was comfy and it was lovely to wake up to the gorgeous view. We will definitely go again and hope to stay another week during the year.

Awesome Russ Vegas
What a fantastic property to walk into after a long journey. We were just so impressed by the setup and the outlook. Had dinner on the deck first night. How could you not. Our hosts were so helpful and provided everything you could expect and more upon arrival. Place was spick and span and totally beautiful. Watch the boats going past and the fish jump. Even saw a dugong on the last day frolicking around. Want a quiet place in a beautiful space, come to Russ Vegas. Thanks Louise for the memories. Lorraine and Adrian 😊

Absolutely sublime accommodation highly recommended and I shall stay here again there is nothing the owner hasn’t thought of Russ Vegas gets a big 5 stars spotlessly clean! Great location everything is there that you could possibly need all you need bring is yourself your linen and your toothbrush and paste!

An absolute tranquil setting
From booking to checkout, everything was very easy and efficient. Louise, the owner was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our first time to Russell Island and we will be back. The house is extremely well set up, right on the water and the setting is amazing. We spent hours sitting on the back deck watching the boats go by. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. We loved our stay.

The place was very clean and tidy on arrival. Has absolutely everything u need for ur stay other then the food u eat. Great location and very quiet. My family and I had a fantastic time and will definitely stay again and again. Great friendly communication with the host. All and all a fantastic place to stay on the island.
