Iluka is situated on one of Shoalhaven Head’s most popular strips, with the Wharf Road Boat Ramp only steps away from the front door. Superbly located on the shores of the Shoalhaven River where you can step directly into the water or tie up your boat/jet ski on the sandy banks of the property, panoramic views of the Shoalhaven River and beach.

This great family getaway consist of 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining, separate lounge room with water views, very large downstairs storage & double garage big enough to fit 2 cars and a boat. Enjoy the two verandahs with BBQ and entertaining areas. Ideal for your yearly family holiday or just a short/long stay, winery weekends or a quick getaway for two.

Very family friendly

We had a great time there with family. The kids loved splashing in the water and the adults enjoyed fishing and playing pool. We would definitely stay again.

Iluka Stay

House and location are fantastic. Facilities excellent. The pool table was a big hit with our group! Check in and check out was very easy and straight forward. Although it sleeps 12, 4 of those 12 beds are doubles. Unless you have 4 couples sharing a double each it's not really practical for a group of 12 singles unless they're willing to share a bed with someone else. We decided against using the BBQ because when we took the cover off it hadn't been cleaned by previous guests. Wi Fi was very weak and continually dropped out.

Beautiful view and great water access

Had a great stay but 2 things I would say and they are too many spider webs and spiders for young kids. Probably needs a good outside spray. Secondly downstairs area is not very nice to put the children it’s a bit scary and too big. Suggest making a few rooms with carpet which would be more welcoming. Otherwise we all had a ball everything other than the above two was excellent

Great location

We had a great mid winter getaway. The location is stunning, right next to the boat ramp plus we had the jetty and caught some fish from boat. The house is nice but can be better with some minor improvements such as rubbish bags for the kitchen and better mattress for the main room. For Winter, the basement area is definitely not sleep-able. It was freezing down stairs. But my mum was able to sleep on the sofa bed in the dining/living area which made up the difference. In summer, it would be great since all the kids can sleep downstairs on the bunks comfortably. Note, there is only one toilet and shower upstairs and another one downstairs which can be annoying if there were more guests with us. We were fine for a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. One last issue was the tv. The tv downstairs was in an Asian language setting and it didn't matter how hard we tried, we could not fix it back to English. This meant the tv downstairs could not be used. Even upstairs we tried to put a movie for the kids on the dvd, and that did not work. There is no wifi and no netflix or smart tv. I would recommend for the owner to update that as it def would help with overall stay. The firepit was amazing and we used it over the 3 days. Great yard for kids to play in and we would love to come back in summer time so we can go for a swim. Overall, we had a great time and plan to come back.

Fantastic location right on the water!

We had a great time at this house.The location is stunning, right next to the boat ramp plus we had our own jetty! The house is great and in the perfect location with plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend and will definately be coming back again!!

Average stay

The stay overall was pretty average. The place lacked supplies, utensils and appliances. The kettle was leaking and the cleanliness of the kitchen, toilet and stove was dirty when we got there. The barbecue was also dirty and was not usable. Ventilation of the stove fans was broken and images showed two fridges in the property but there was only one. Would recommend to only stay for a short duration.

Very accommodating

This was such a nice place to stay, had all the items we needed and the beds were so comfy and warm, is obviously a very looked after property! Only issue we had was the neighbors across the street occasionally watching us if we opened the blinds! Oh well they can watch us play monopoly! Overall was a great place to stay and we'll priced!

Nice location

Overall cleanliness was below what we expected. Certain things were damaged or not working properly ie Blinds, pool table, kettle, remote control. Location seems to cover up previous mention faults. Overall it’s a nice living area with great views and good heating available.

FAMILY STAY

Good house, great location if you have boat or jet ski. It was spacious enough for 12 of us. Could benefit from a few extra supplies in the kitchen which I would have expected. e.g. (Dishwashing liquid, salt and pepper - some decent wine glasses would take the place up a level).

Shoalhaven dream

It was an amazing view absolutely amazing! The fire pit and the pool table were an absolute hit. Accommodation for the kids could’ve been a bit cleaner but still very good ( musty smell) The bathroom was lovely, shower great - my one negative.. the stove was very unclean and there were no paper towels Or brooms or vacuum cleaner, so cleaning up was a bit of a problem (and lots of spider webs.) All in all, I would go back again with just my family so the kids could sleep upstairs. Lovely outlook, prime position ! And the jetty was great to have 🙏

Fantastic extended family / group getaway house

Fire pit, jetty, space for heaps of gear, this house has it all. Large extended family group had no problems fitting into this large house on the waterfront. We loved it and will be back for sure.
