The Cedar Garden- 2.5 acres home on beachside

The Cedar Garden is a grand country home sitting on a parcel of 2.5 acre clear and flat land, with 10m cedar trees surrounded to form the beautiful landscape. The Cedar Garden is in a super location of Central Coast within easy access to beaches and creation facilities, provides accommodation for large groups (14 beds in total, sleep up to 20 adults and children), ideal for family holidays.

Please note parties, functions, weddings, bucks and other noisy activities including playing loud music are NOT permitted, noise and damage bond apply. The access to property is located on Tumbi Road, do NOT use any driveways on Hansens Road.

Music and outdoor activities are NOT permitted after 9pm. Illegal activities are not permitted anytime, any suspicious activities will be reported to police.

Location:

40 minutes north of Sydney (30 minutes on freeway and 10 minutes off freeway from Ourimbah or Tuggerah), access via Tumbi Road.

Property is excellent. Plenty of room for large groups with pool, pool table, table tennis. Only negative was checking in -we were given the wrong access code and couldn't reach the owner to get correct code for 1.5 hours. Overall, great though

Tumbi Umbi retreat
Spacious property & well set up for a large group- we were 9 people. The property is set back from a very busy road. The pool is beautiful, but there is no shade available poolside ( eg: umbrellas) The table tennis & pool tables were well used. Very spacious bathrooms & laundry

Perfect for that group golf getaway.
The property beyond meeting all our needs. The place is huge and delivered everything that it said it would. The location is perfect and a short drive to everything including the golf courses which is what we wanted. Lily is a tremendous host and communicates well. The value of the property is on point and we would stay there again without any doubt. Highly recommended.

What a perfect house for a big group … great size rooms lots of entertaining areas and not too close to neighbours. Close to Sydney, the pool is awesome. Next time I would bring my own pillow and no offence to the owners but the cleaners were off the mark .

Excellent house for large family holiday. only have a couple of things that could do with some attention. 1. some blown light bulbs 2. 2 hobs on gas cooktop not working and or not working properly 3.bottom tray in kitchen fridge wont slide properly 4. washing machine unreliable- keeps stopping mid cycle 5. air con could do with some operating instructions so the rooms that are ducted can all get air. Overall the property was fantastic. Extremely well supplied kitchen crockery cutlery etc, lovely clean bathrooms, fantastic pool, lovely outside furniture etc etc. Thank you Lily

Perfect layout
Apart from issues with the pool - filter was inadequate and water looked murky & green - attended by pool guys on 3 occasions during our stay, which was ok but it did disrupt us from using the pool. The filter was finally upgraded on Monday 9/1, too late for us though. I did address this before due to reviews noting like issues with the pool and was assured it had been cleaned, sorry but that wasn't the case when we arrived. Overall, the property albeit dated, served us well, lots of rooms to accommodate us, pool table, table tennis, lots of space in and out and our dog was happy, kitchen was well stocked with appliances etc, I must say that all calls to the owner regarding the condition of the pool were answered and actioned but too late for our stay, others will benefit now that the pool filter has been upgraded, still disappointing from our perspective especially since I prompted my concerns 2 weeks prior to our stay, our grandchildren missed out on some swimming.

Just a little dated inside , no instructions on the wi- fi couldn’t watch the footy that was broadcasted had to watch it on our own iPad . Dishwasher repair man turned up on the Friday saying it had been agranged for him to be there , no notice to us at all , over all a littl disappointing for the money .

Checkin combination did not work. Could not get hold of owner as had to use app and could not get app to accept any password I put in. Property is getting tired in that doors falling off couboards and door handles falling off. Apart from that, we had a lovely weekend. Would liked to be able to use garages and need instructions forTV and wifi

The house was very accomodating for a big group. Kitchen had everything you need, and 3x big bathrooms was perfect. The pool table and ping pong tables were super fun for the kids and adults too. The host was so lovely and replied quickly to all our questions. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is large enough but is currently a swamp and smells inside of mould. The outside is not maintained. A couple of appliances, one toilet and few door handles were broken. The pool and response times from manager were good.

Great for large groups
Lots of rooms and comfortable spaces with a well stocked kitchen. Could do with more mirrors in rooms and pedestal fans for rooms but otherwise it was very spacious and well located
