Stay Social provides unique home-style short and medium-term accommodation in central Bendigo for travellers and business people alike. Stay Social is warm and welcoming, easily accessible, great value, fun and highly environmentally & socially responsible.

BOOKING NOTE: You book the number of bedrooms depending on Guests paid for and other bedrooms may be booked by other external guests if you have not paid for the whole property. If you wish to book the whole property but have less than 9 people then simply select 9 guests. If you have 10, 11 or 12 guests you must select the correct number.

Guests have exclusive use of their bedroom living spaces and share other facilities including full kitchen and laundry with new friends, future business partners, great contacts, and maybe even soul mates that they are about to meet! Most bedrooms have a queen bed and some twin beds as well as other facilities - various options exist.

Offering a built in outdoor kitchen barbecue and views of the garden, a 55” flat-screen TV, blu-ray and DVD player are located in The Sunroom. A balcony or patio are adjacent to some rooms and there is a wonderful outdoor living area. Some rooms have private bathroom and other access multiple shared facilities. Stay Social features free WiFi throughout the property.

Free use of bicycles is available at this guest house and the area is popular for cycling. The property features local Central Victorian art and many upcycled features. Stay Social creates the space for ideas and connections to be created.

Family Gathering

Great for a weekend stay

The property was just as advertised. Plenty of room for four couples to stay. The location of the property is excellent & we’d be more than happy to stay again if we’re ever back in Bendigo.

Great clean property, perfect in every way

This property was ideal for our needs. It was large clean and had all amenities any one could need. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the open spaces were spacious to accommodate our large group. This property was top notch. The addition of the chickens was just fantastic. There was plenty of information about the local area and this property was in a perfect spot to explore the area.. I highly recommend this property absolutely fantastic.

Bendigo stay

Great for us (a group of old university mates in our 60s doing a tour of the goldfields). Clean, well equipped with a good communal area but our own comfortable bedrooms.

Perfect place for a family gathering

What a great place for our family to get together. Plenty of space, clean and a very well equipped kitchen. Close to central Bendigo but still very quiet. Plenty of parking. Loved the chooks! We hope to come back one day.

What a delightful place to stay

My family were in Bendigo for a family birthday. This delightful house afforded us with the opportunity to be together but not on top of one another. Convenient distance to shops and movies. The place was very clean and beautifully presented

Bendigo Friends Trip

Couldn't have picked a more convenient place. It was very close to the city centre but was situated in a nice quiet area. The house had plenty of room for everyone to hang out and eat together, but also had ample space for when people required their own time. We really enjoyed this stay!

Accommodated 9 of US together!

WONDERFUL! The cottage was close to the town, clean and welcoming, lovely open living with fully equipped kitchen and family room with games, netflix and tourist information. Nice bedrooms with ensuites or located closeby. Bedrooms with spacious wardrobes and most comfortable beds. Lovely garden where sweet little birds visit. BBQ and comfortably sit outside shaded by umbrellas or easy access to sunroom and play room for kids. We even had fresh eggs from the chooks on arrival. Host very friendly and helpful. Very affordable accommodation and highly recommended for larger groups up to 12 people. We shall certainly come and stay again.

Perfect for extended family and friends

This property was perfect for our group of friends with their kids, ranging from baby to 13 years old. The house has a big well equipped kitchen and large table which was great for our big group. Big backyard that the kids loved, with grass to play, veggie patch to explore, small games room and pet chickens! Living area was large and included lots of books, board games, puzzles etc. Wifi was fast. Check in and out was super easy and it was convenient that all locks were electronic so never needed to worry about a key. All the bedrooms were big and the beds were super cosy and comfortable. The house had everything we needed with lots of extras that make a family holiday easier like glad wrap, laundry detergent, cooking basics etc. I would highly recommend this property for a group like ours. Enough room for everyone to be able to have their own space but great areas when you want to come together. Property host was also lovely and very easy to deal with! Thanks for having us.

Okay stay for group of 9 adults.

Our stay was full of surprises which made it less than expected. No TV inside the house. To watch the TV in the outdoor shed it was not inviting. Having to go out in the cold to watch the evening news was crazy. Also cramped if more than 4 people in there. The door to the shed room kept jamming and difficult to open / close.The kids playhouse building terrible, missing windows, dirty and not usable. The back garden in need of a good tidy up, broken kids toy, no chocks. No clothes dryer. The study room being used as a storage area by the owner. Automatic lights and fans in the 6 bathrooms / toilets very annoying at night.
