Warby Cottage - cottage with amazing view

Set on 27 acres, come and enjoy the peace and quiet of Warby Cottage located at the base of the Warby Ranges. Surrounded by farm and bushland, privacy is guaranteed. Ideally situated, Warby Cottage is only 5 minutes to Wangaratta town centre, 10 minutes to Glenrowan and 10 mins to the local wineries. With spectacular views looking towards the Ovens and Kiewa Valleys, it is an ideal place to stop, relax and unwind.

Warby Cottage is a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage, with a queen size bed and ensuite. All linen is provided, including the comfort of electric blankets and extra pillows! The lounge area is bright and spacious, with a relaxing sofa and arm chairs. There is a T.V. and DVD player, reverse cycle, along with an iPod docking station. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, table and chairs. A continental breakfast is provided on arrival for you to enjoy at your convenience. We also have a porta cot and high chair available upon request.

Warby Cottage is a farm stay property where we are happy for you to bring your pets. So, whether you want to explore the wineries of the North East, getaway to the ski fields, take a bush walk, go 4WD driving, or sit and read a book, Warby Cottage provides a wonderful retreat in a quiet and secluded spot!

Cosy stay for two
Great people hosting. Brilliant views from porch. Hot and strong shower. Really clean. Stocked with basic needs and appliances. Bed comfortable. For two people it was great and would be 5/5 (the iron does leak and it’s a fair way out of town but not a problem). For a pet it wasn’t that great. Since it’s advertised as pet friendly it was 4/5. No enclosed yard and you cant leave the pet to go out anywhere. Otherwise great.

This spotless little cabin is deceptive in its presentation - it looks simple & basic … once you have arrived you discover the hosts have put a great deal of thought into making this ‘simple’ cabin extremely comfortable with everything you need included. A very generous continental breakfast with fresh fruit made this a perfect resting place on our 1200km trek from Melb to NSW mid North Coast. Absolute serenity with a delightful view 5*+

Great spot
We only stayed for one night but were very impressed with this property. It is close to town but in a rural private setting and is dog friendly. It is well set up with everything you could need, comfortable and clean, fantastic views and close to walking and biking tracks.

Beautiful cottage stay on the side of Mt Warby
Relax on the porch with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. There is a comfortable warm bed inside and a large lounge to relax in. The well equipped (and clean) kitchen is a great place to prepare meals, or just make coffee. We loved it here.

Superb view from verandah
Wonderful family cottage set in a rural area. The view from the verandah is superb. Cottage is surrounded with beautiful gardens looking out over the horse paddocks towards Wangaratta. Quiet and clean, the cottage had everything we needed.

We loved our stay at Warby Cottage, it was the perfect place to break up the trip between the ACT and the Dandenongs. The place had everything we needed including generous breakfast items and a fantastic view. Was wonderful to be able to bring our dog along and we all enjoyed the countryside. Thanks so much !

We had a wonderful overnight stay, and ideally now would like to have had more time enjoying the serenity and beautiful views over the valley at sunset , and sunrise , with kangaroos roaming through the paddocks. A wonderful place for us and the dogs to relax and enjoy.

This was a lovely property very quiet
Lovely quiet space with horses and kangaroos. Only issue - and my fault for not checking properly - there was no enclosed fence for our speedy greyhound which meant she had to be on the leash 100%. I incorrectly thought that dog friendly meant enclosed fencing however I’ll know next time! The place and peace was beautiful ❤️

The big positive of this cottage was its amazing view across to Mount Buffalo. The cottage was comfortable and very quiet . We would definitely stay there again.
