The Happy Feet Beach Retreat is literally a stones throw to the stunning Dunsborough beach front and town centre with cafes, shopping, restaurants, kids play park and the famous Dunsborough bakery all at your doorstep. We are also pet friendly with a large secure backyard, so the whole family can enjoy their stay.
This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is ideal for 2 or 3 small families or a group of adults wanting a home away from home. (can sleep 12 people with the use of the sofa bed)

Amazing vacation
The location is so fantastic. Everything from food and entertainment is within walking distance. Local attractions and water entertainment is a short drive. Fun for old and young. We loved our stay and would recommend having a vacation at Happy Feet to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay. Short walk to beach, shops and park for our dogs. Friendly lizard and possums at night. House does need a few repairs. But still good we didn’t cook or use the barbecue short walk to cafes and takeout

House review
Beautiful property and i loved that my dogs could come stay with us in prep for our wedding. House was super clean with fresh linen and towels in all the rooms. Easily accessible with the lock box:) Was slightly disappointed with four rolls of toilet paper for the entire house that sleeps 10 people. We had to buy more whilst we were there, same with dishwashing liquid as there was nothing left in the bottle to use.No sponges or cloths to clean dishes with. Nor anything to clean the bbq with, which is a checkout requirement if used. So bought those and left the sponges there for next guests and paper towel. Aside from small things which we live and learn from, the overall stay was great and would stay there again if need:)

Great location and property
The property was ideally located for both town and beach. Family of four adults, one child and one dog were very comfortable with a very relaxed feeling, we thoroughly we enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with the AC, but the iProperty Manager sorted this out very quickly. The house had most of the comforts of home. There were a few things that we thought would make life easier, especially in the colder months:- Indoor airer, washing on outside line didn't dry properly. An airer would have been handy. A lock on front door flywire, so that dog/children weren't able to get out when front door was open. Flywire on backdoor would have been handy. When AC was being looked at, we noticed that filters desperately needed cleaning. As did some cobwebs. I was in the upstairs bedroom, but had to move downstairs to share room with nephew as I found the mattress not firm enough for me. Please don't be offended with the things we picked up on, they're only incidentals to a very comfortable well positioned property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return sometime in the future. Donna - hoped you and your family enjoyed your O/S trip. Had a great stay. Was lovely and cozy and beds very comfortable, with great kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to town and beach. Perfect location! The only thing we would fault, is that the main window in the lounge was pretty dirty. As in hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. I know it’s winter and the salt from the ocean is hard to control but it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks….also there were a few cobwebs round the window on the inside so it’s been overlooked for a while. It’s a small thing, but with the cold and wet weather we spent a fair bit of time in the living room so it stood out.

My daughter loved the top floor. Very nice accommodation. Really enjoyed my stay. Very small negative. The lounge is uncomfortable and the WIFI never connected.

We did enjoy our stay. Great location - close to town and beach. Neat and tidy. Only would say that the house itself is smaller than expected. It does sleep 10 however with only 5 of us staying it was the limit with the lounge and dining areas. There was a second retreat area but can be very noisy with open plan. Back yard good for dogs but front is on a corner and not enclosed so that was tricky with dogs.

Absolutely suited our last-minute short break away with family and our 2x dogs - the back yard is perfect for pets and relaxing with a cuppa. Easy walk into town and along the beach paths. Overall a lovely holiday break.

Both Cam and I own our own business (a children's fitness program) that runs in across Australia, we appreciate the importance of a quality service and good communication.
Cam and our son are mad keen surfers, and love more than anything to head to the beautiful southwest to surf. I own a little quarter horse and love to horse ride and compete. Our daughter is a flyer in a cheerleading team and again we travel for her competitions and events, so as you can read, we are a really busy active family, which leaves us little time to spend in our quaint Dunsborough holiday home (unfortunately)
We do however make sure that this home is set up to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible, just the way we like to find it ourselves!

This is a lovely property in an AMAZING location!!!
No need to get in your car, the beautiful Dunsborough beach is only a few minutes walk away, the town centre is also just a few minutes away with boutique shopping, cafe's, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a park at the end of the street for children to play in and dogs to run around (we are a pet friendly home).
The Happy Feet Beach Retreat is an old style house with all the modern trimmings you need to make your stay a comfortable.
