Romantic Getaway
What an amazing property, so tranquil and quiet. The details and little touches are fantastic. Particulary loved the outside daybed , spent a lot of hours into the night/early hours of the morning with a wine/tea talking about all sorts. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to bond and connect.

Peaceful and private
Property is very peaceful and private. It's mostly as described except for the kitchen (insufficient cookware and bowls for preparing food). Has a lot of bric-a-brac, furniture and moldings--all having a thick layer of dust. Lots of lint and such on the floor. Not a good place if you need cleanliness.

Quirky but homely feel
Thank you to Peter and Michelle for making our stay at Pear Tree Hollow cottage. Such a memorable time of retreat. We needed 4 nights retreat after some challenging health issues this year. We watched the sunrise from the bedroom window and were in awe of the clarity of the starry night sky. The little front lawn area, home to a family of cheeky blue wrens, and with its extensive “Inman Valley” views and mellow afternoon ambience was so restful to return to after an active day out and about walking and visiting so many wonderful nearby little tourist spots. We found the cottage interior suited to our simple needs. It was never cold, so we didn’t need to light the fire at night. Interesting reading matter and DVD supply too. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed and ensuite very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of yesteryear little bits and pieces gave the overall space a quirky but homely feel. In appreciation, Mary and Greg

Myself and my husband really enjoyed our stay 😊 it was relaxing, nice views, very clean and beautiful set up. Michelle and Peter are very friendly and helpful. We left with some beautiful chickens and a vintage pram sold by owners. We will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Views over rolling hills. Very comfortable furnishings and bedding. Clean and well appointed. A few ants in the kitchen didn't cause any problems.

Relaxing getaway
The property was overlooking green farming land which was a lovely view. There were many birds to watch and I now know what a superb fairywren looks like. The cottage has everything you need and the king size bed was very comfortable. Thank you Michelle and Peter.

Such a cozy place with an incredible view!
Such a cozy place with an incredible view, surrounded by nature, me and my partner didn’t want to leave. So many helpful items that can be easily forgotten to bring left in the cottage was so helpful! Even small touches like new candles were so lovely. Our favourite part was sitting outside in the morning and hearing the birds. Perfect place for anyone who loves nature and is wanting to spend a relaxing time away by yourself or with a loved one! Thanks so much!

Great views
A cozy little cottage with great views. Lots of bird life. Loved the wood fireplace and comfy bed. The alpacas were adorable! I can see a lot of love went into the decor but there was so much bric a brac everywhere it was hard to find space to cook, eat or put your stuff.. All surfaces covered in Knick-knacks. The price tags on items was a bit confusing too as it felt like walking into a secondhand shop. The love getaway vibe was also a bit in your face. Be aware that this an off grid house so there is no microwave, dishwasher or washing machine. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the aesthetics of the decor was not quite what I was expecting.

Tranquil oasis
We had the pleasure of spending four glorious nights at Pear Tree Hollow. Our very own little piece of paradise from arrival to departure. The cottage is beautifully fitted out in keeping with its design and surrounds. There were incredible (and local) treats for breakfast and afternoon tea. Unexpectedly, we also had our very own piece of the garden and property to wander which was an absolute delight. Lazy mornings on the outdoor daybed were sublime and cosy nights in front of the wood heater made for a restful stay. Our hosts were on-hand for any queries but also distant enough that you were left in your own little space. All up, a sheer delight.
