Beach Retreat - Blairgowrie

This recently renovated beach house provides the perfect family retreat. Well appointed with two large living spaces including dedicated kids corner and TV room. Open plan kitchen, dining and living flowing into a newly renovated deck and paved area. A spacious secure backyard with multiple seating areas completes this property.

The house had three large bedrooms, with a master bedroom (queen bed), a bunk bed room with two beds and a trundle and room with two single beds. The second living area also has a fold out double couch. The kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated, as have all furnishing and fittings to provide a very comfortable and modern family retreat. There are two separate bathrooms with showers and a main bathroom (with one separate toilet). The main living room includes a large open fireplace. The property also has a split system air conditioning/heating unit in the main living area. With spacious but secure backyard, it is the ideal home to bring young children and pets and includes a children's play area, outdoor fire pit and large dining area and Weber BBQ.

The property is less than a kilometre from the Blairgowrie shops front and back beach. The property is located at the end of the cul-de-sac resulting in absolute privacy and serenity.

The property is connected to NBN and has WI-FI. A Netflix guest account is available on both TVs.

**pets more than welcome. The backyard is secure.**

**No schoolies bookings and a two night minimum applies**

**Linen is not provided. Property has plenty of doonas, pillows etc. but you will need to bring sheets and towels. **

Just perfect

Great house, great location, super chill hosts, we cannot wait to get back with our 2 little dogs. Highly recommended and the best place we’ve stayed yet.

Great Place in Peaceful Surroundings

We had a great 2 weeks at Jen's place. Quiet cul-de-sac location but close enough to walk to Blairgowrie shops for a coffee. Short drive to Woolworths at Ryde. It was perfect for us. Plenty of space for adults/kids-teens to chill in their own way both inside and out no matter what the weather. TV and games available for entertainment. Nicely appointed kitchen Comfortable beds for a good nights sleep and plenty of storage. Lovely landscaped garden, all secure such that our spaniel had a great time too. Others have pointed out there is one toilet, but it is separate from the showers/bathrooms so we managed without any fuss. Thank you Jen for the homely touches of nice toiletries, throws for the chilly evenings and we were very grateful for the welcoming wine, and pantry staples to get us up and running on the cooking front. Highly recommended.

Lovely family home, with a beautiful sunny backyard. Well equipped inside and outside. Great host who was a pleasure to communicate with. Perfect for children (and pet if you have them) secure backyard. We will be back.

Nice property, clean and spacious with big yard for kids and dog to run around.

We had a nice relaxing break. House is lovely and comfortable, nice big backyard for the dog, lovely open fire and it’s in a great location.

Fabulous Pet friendly family beach suburb getaway

We needed a relaxing break with our girls and our 2 english staffies of which 1 had a recent op , so needed a lovely home with nice indoor and outdoor space that was easy to navigate. This house had everything we needed for that and more. It's also the little extras that Jen offers that make such a welcome difference. Nice soaps , shampoos /conditioners / range of fresh tea towels/ hand towels/ body wash / lovely toiletpaper ! Good stock of so much in the kitchen and laundry & my favourite - the coffee machine with lots of pods + the bath.- oh that was great me time ! Clean kitchen/ fridge and the cleanest oven I think of any pet friendly home we've stayed in. We knew it only had 1 toilet. Perhaps in future , they'll make room for an extra toilet which would come in handy , though we didn't have an issue with it on this occassion. The house is even better viewing in person, our dogs were very very happy , the fully fenced back yard is great for everyone including pets with a little extra wander around the tee treas at the very back. Great quiet location. We had 1 rainy day in and made use of the fabulous fireplace and binged a netflix series. It was a dream . Hubby relaxed with streaming of NBA games for the entire stay , he was in heaven with that ! We love the ease of walking to Blairgowrie main street precinct and beach . There's all we needed /wanted in that strip inluding your fab pizza suggestion and shopping . Sorrento is just a few mins drive and there is so much to do on the peninsula. Thank you to Jen and family for the lovely Easter box we found when we arrived. I wish we could have stayed longer , but alas will just have to dream about organising the next getaway. Probably one of the nicest properties we have stayed at and we have been coming down to the peninsula for 15+ years Beautiful set up Great location to shops and beach Lovely outdoor space and securely fenced for our pooch, who loved exploring the back yard The Stan Netflix etc was fab we binged Yellowstone - comfortable house with everything you need down to the wine 🍷 decanter Excellent- we would love to come back next year

A lovely spot!

Very spacious living areas, great deck and lovely garden. Walkable to front and back beaches and Blairgowrie shops. Very pleasant spot for sun and sea breezes. Note that although there’s two showers plus an outdoor shower, there’s only one toilet and proper vanity.

Lovely, relaxing retreat

Really lovely beach house in a quiet street in a fantastic location. Easy walking distance to shops for great coffee and food. We really enjoyed the garden - fabulous deck to sit/eat at and lots of space for kids/dogs to relax/play outdoors. The house was impeccably presented. Jen has gone to a lot of trouble and with three teens in tow, having two living areas was great. Kitchen was well stocked. We also enjoyed taking our dog with us and she was very happy exploring the big, fenced garden. Finally, we appreciated the early check in and late check out. Made for a very relaxing weekend. Thank you Jen for letting us stay at your house.

We and our dogs had such a lovely time. House is fantastic - photos don’t do it justice. Well equipped, beautiful garden and fabulous location. Jen was so easy to communicate with and very prompt in response to messages. Can hardly wait to go back!

Highly Recommend Spacious Well Equipped Family House

Just wanted to send you a quick note to say how pleased we were with our accommodation. Your house was absolutely perfect for us. Lots of space for our grown up teenagers and us to spread out. We loved the house. It is very well equipped. Really well setup for families with everything you could possibly need. Wish we could of stayed longer to enjoy the fantastic back yard and also the area. The house is in such a quiet and sheltered spot. Your communication was great and very welcoming. Large, bright family home with a wonderful garden

Thank you Jen and family for sharing your holiday home. Perfectly located - short drive from village centre and both the bayside beaches or ocean side. Dead end street makes it feel like a retreat. Large well fenced rear garden for our dog, who was also allowed inside. Well equipped large kitchen, meals area and two lounge rooms, both with large screen TVs. Main bathroom is modern, separate toilet and an extra shower in laundry. Off street parking. Aircon on main living area. Everything you need.

Lovely house

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It's so lovely and our dogs loved the backyard so much. It's clean and comfortable. The location is just a short drive to the dog beach and cafes. The owners are as lovely as the property, they're accommodating and very prompt in replying to our messages even with our short notice. Hopefully, we can stay here again and maybe next time we will be bringing our friends.

Short break getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beaches, relaxing at the house and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Our doggo had a great holiday too; he loved the tennis balls left behind for him. Would love to book again.

Great location, modern and well-maintained place. :)

My wife and our dog really enjoyed our stay. The place is really clean, well equipped with every you need for a getaway down the coast. A really nice secure backyard for Pets was the key for us, plus plenty of space to entertain, and a great location near Balirgowie shops and close to Sorrento and Beaches was ideal. Would highly recommend and will send this on to friends and family to stay. Thank you again Jen :)

Great family stay

Wonderful home and garden for a family and dog holiday, extensive deck and bbq area ... and table tennis! Great location. Jen was very helpful. Will definitely visit again.
