Beach House 2 is located on the edge of Tasmania’s wild Tarkine coast and provides accommodation for surfers and couples seeking a quiet romantic retreat. Situated on the edge of a 100 acre coastal property there are sweeping views of the Great Southern ocean and rural farmland. The cosy open plan hilltop cottage is self contained with fully equipped kitchen, ‘wet room’ style bathroom with a view, queen bed, couch, books and outdoor chairs. Check the surf out the front without leaving your bed. Access to a boat ramp is available by prior arrangement. Please be aware this is a remote area and be prepared with your supplies. There is easy access to five kilometres of sandy beach. It is close to the Tarkine and Arthur River wilderness areas. Activities include surfing, boating, fishing, walking, photography, bird watching, beach combing and exploring. Discover an abundance of native wildlife and stunning landscapes. Experience the extremes of west coast weather and the world’s cleanest air, and visit the pristine, wild coastline and temperate forests of the Tarkine Wilderness area.
