Ocean Blue B & B - Beacomber Spa Suite

Ocean Blue B&B has been operating since 2000. Set in a beautiful parkland which runs down to the beach, Ocean Blue is an ideal quality adult getaway location.

Just 50 minutes south of Sydney CBD and 35 minutes north of Wollongong, We are adjacent to the magnificent Royal National Park and within a 10-15 minute walk of the famous Sea Cliff Bridge at Coalcliff. Ocean Blue B&B is ideally situated to enjoy the magnificent experience of walking the Seacliff Bridge.

Your host, Ian, has over 16 years experience in travel and tourism, and is passionate about exceeding your expectations. Over 50% of our guests are repeat guests.

Ocean Blue B&B has two stylish private spa suites - The Beachcomber and The Sandpiper

The Beachcomber Spa Suite is located on deck two of the house and comprises of a large bedroom with a king size bed. The suite has a glorious view of the ocean to the east. The en-suite has both a walk-in in shower and a spa bath. There is also a separate sitting room for your exclusive use.

The Sandpiper Spa Suite is located on deck five (the ground floor) and offers a queen-sized bed. This suite boasts a designer spa suite complete with a vertical garden to add to the tranquillity. A large lounge room with contemporary furnishings completes this stylish experience.

If required, a rollaway bed can be added to either lounge room. (nominal fee applies). Please note that prices quoted are per suite for up to 2 people. To get accurate pricing only request a booking for a maximum of 2 guests.

An experience and host that will be difficult to match let alone top

We are enthusiastic travellers with quite some experience with hotels and B&B's. Ian is by far the best, most friendly and helpful host we've met so far. We felt at home in his beautiful house, with lush scenery and delicious breakfast. It was an absolute pleasure to be his guest, we can recommend it :-)

What a BNB really is

Ian, was a fantastic host taking care of our every need. Just have to mention when you think BNB you think bed and breakfast and Ian definitely did provide. His setup is the traditional way it should be done with a bed and breakfast included. He also provided all information and things to do and places to eat. He was a friendly character who got along with everyone. Definitely coming back here to this beautiful house. Thankyou so much for a fantastic service.

Perfect host, excellent room & location

Ian made us feel welcome and comfortable from start to finish. He went out of his way to source the best walking tracks in the area and was full of local knowledge. Exceed Expectations

Tucked away amongst this wondrous paradise of Australian bush and rain forest plants is an amazing home. Our stay experience was fabulous, Ian cooked up delicious breakfasts and dressed the table with his favourite china set, adding that special touch to a warm and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Ian, we loved our stay, and will definately be back to stay again someday.

Thanks Ian - home away from home.

We had a short weekend away and Ian was so very accomodating. Ocean Blue B&B is set in a tropical oasis and 5 mins walk to the beach. The room was lovely, very clean, the house has everything you need. Thanks again Ian, we will be back for a winter stay :)

Peaceful Escape

We were greeted with an enthusiastic welcome. Ian & Matt, helped us to become immersed in the local area with a knowledge the area and an experience history spanning more than 20 years. The accommodation was centrally located with an easy walk to the beach and cafes. Breakfast was excellent, served on the outdoor deck area. Accommodation was good, spacious and comfortable. Overall it was friendly, relaxing, restoring and memorable.

Delightful Oasis

An ''Excellent'' destination with fantastic hosts definitely 5 Star

The property is a unique house with a great deal of attention to detail. The rooms are really great, comfortable and quirky. This property displays a unique character throughout. It is a credit to the hosts Ian & Matt. The degree of professionalism they extend to their guests is well and truly above and beyond. Well done Guys!!!

Perfect for special occasion

I stayed for our anniversary and my partner’s birthday. Everything was awesome indeed! The location, the rooms, the spa, the breakfast, especially the host Ian was so nice and perfectly guided us during our stay. We really enjoyed and had a special weekend:) I would definitely recommend to everyone and would like to bring my friends and lend the entire house one day:-D

Very pleasant first get away after COVID

We had an amazing time at such a beautiful property with even better company (owners - Ian & Matt). Breakfast was gourmet, views were breathless & the house was so unique!!! We are already planning when to go back :) Missing our bath & beautiful rooms with exquisite views. Thankyou sincerely for the best first trip since restrictions were lifted. !

Fantastic, above and beyond expectations

From the moment we booked Ian was making our experience special. As we were booking to celebrate my wife's birthday, Ian offered to put flowers and champagne in or room. Both of which I accepted and both were perfect. We got a text 30 minutes before arriving asking us for our eta so Ian and Matt could meet us at the garage with umbrellas. The house is such a unique property, built in to the side of the hill with 5 levels of luxury. Our suite was perfect, a nice spa bath, comfortable bed and views to the ocean. It nice and quiet and extremely comfy. Ian and Matt are the type of people that just shine in the B&B environment. They treat you like they have known you all their lives. So friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a property in this area, please give Ian a call, you won't regret it!

Wonderful stay- do yourself a favour!!

Wonderful hospitality, beautiful home, excellent amenities, serene location and very close to all attractions. A true B'n'B where Ian & Matt share their house with you but you still have a private unit.

Both the premises,location and host were fantastic. Excellent Attention to detail

Best BnB we ever had!!!

Ian and Matt are wonderful hosts, like we never had before! Seems like they’re born for being hosts. At breakfast you sit together with them and the other guests and first enjoy a delicious combination of fresh fruit and yogurt. Afterwards you get eggs or omelette with toast the way you like it. All this sitting on a marvellous terrace next to rainforest and sea. Unbelievable!!! The 3 suites are very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. Highly recommended!!!
