Kioloa Hidden Beach House

Renovated charming two bedroom beach house tucked up on headland a short walk to two gorgeous beaches (Merry and Kioloa). Open plan kitchen, two entertaining decks, large garden. Full of bird and animal life. Ideal for a relaxing family holiday.

Great open plan living. Kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances including gas cook top, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Gas bbq. Now comes with wifi and new Samsung smart TV for watching Netflix etc. Two queen beds. Linen, bath and tea towels provided.

A short walk to local cafe, take-away and corner store. Five minute drive to IGA supermarket, bottle shop, bakery, newsagent and chemist.

Strictly no pets and no parties or gatherings of more than 8 people in total including paying guests or deductions from the Bond will apply.

Beaches and wildlife

Easy walking distance to two beaches. Plenty of birds visiting - rainbow lorikeets and king parrots will eat fruit and seed respectively (often while sitting on your arm!), but we also saw black cockatoos, pink galahs, sea eagles and many more. Kangaroos come to graze and play-fight in the backyard every day. This would be a great place to bring overseas guests. Comfortable beds, good linen, very well equipped kitchen - which is just as well, as there aren’t many eating-out options in Kioloa (it’s a quiet spot). But do try dinner at Merry Street restaurant - stunningly good 6-course degustation!

Light filled home close to beach

Relaxed with the wildlife

Lovely break with the children, who absolutely loved the wildlife everywhere. The friendly lorikeets and kangaroos everywhere really made it. Beautiful beaches and some lovely walks combined with a peaceful and relaxing place to stay made for a perfect short break

Couldn't be better!

Such a perfect spot for a stay in Kioloa. Diana's place was soaked in sun during winter - lovely and warm - and just a stone's throw away from beautiful Kioloa beach. The house is wonderfully cosy and stocked with everything you could need. Can't wait to return!!

Clean and comfortable.

This was a lovely place for a short beach break. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach which is pristine. The house itself was immaculately presented and had all we needed.

Lovely open and clean space

The property is located in a quiet and pretty location overlooking banksia trees and 5 minutes walk from beach. It was comfortable and clean and we liked the open plan living, dining and kitchen. Diana provided a bottle of Prosecco on our arrival as an anniversary gift which was a lovely surprise.

Perfect location

Short getaway

This is a wonderful holiday house. It is quiet , clean and very well equipped. The location is wonderful- there are beautiful beach and forest walks all around Kioloa. The host gave excellent instructions and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our holiday very much.

Only a short stroll to the beach

We had a couple of days of wild weather followed by glorious sunshine. The house was really comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. The visiting birds and roos were highly entertaining. Everyone seems to comment on the great mattress -we had the best sleep each night.

Totally relaxed at Kioloa.

A great weekend away

This is a beautiful home in a brillant spot with a great northerly aspect to get the winter sun. It is only a short stroll to the beach and general store. We highly recommend this property to couples and families . And the beds are so comfortable as is the lounge. The added extras like washing powder, pantry essentials and wifi were greatly appreciated.

Cosy hidden beach house

The beach house has all the comforts of home and all you could want for a beach getaway. Very well kept, welcoming property, well-appointed, perfect location, and very considerate hosts. Loved every minute and wanted for nothing except more time.

Warm and Sunny

Amazing stay

Had some issue with the water but the owners really tried their best to fix the problem, the husband even called from PERU. The place is lovely. Very tranquil and expect to be visited by birds and kangaroos!! Great getaway.

An amazing month in Kioloa!

We had a really special time staying at Diana and Andrew’s place. The house is beautiful, with lots of sunlight and space on the deck and in the backyard, surrounded by banksias and ocean sounds. So much bird life too. Kioloa is really quiet and a great base to swim/relax and explore the South Coast. The house was really well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks again!

Wildlife heaven

Easy walking to the beach and with a garden which attracted kangaroos and birdlife. The bedrooms weren't large so we used the 2nd one for our luggage. The place was well equipped and comfortable. The owners gave good and useful information about the property and surrounds. Rustic rather than modern.
