Glen Mist - artist's home in the Blue Mountains

A beautiful artist’s home; tastefully decorated with paintings and ceramics, atop Leura Cascades and the Jamison Valley, in a friendly, secluded street of South Katoomba.

This large, unique home has a fully equipped kitchen with eat in dining area. It also has 3 spacious bedrooms; each with a Queen-size bed and built-in robes. It boasts a luxurious bathroom with a corner spa; and an additional second bathroom which has been recently renovated. The home has a large, comfortable, warm and inviting lounge room and also a separate living room, with opening doors that lead into a rear balcony that overlooks a large backyard with a bush setting. It has natural gas reverse-cycle air conditioning.

Access is available to the whole upper level and gardens. The lower level/art studio and garage are for private access only.

This home is not suitable for small children (under 7) as it has a water feature/pond in the front yard and also a staircase in the house, where they could hurt themselves if unsupervised.

The home is within walking distance between Leura and Katoomba. Both villages offer unique experiences in art galleries, shops and restaurants. Nature walks and spectacular views abound in the vicinity.

Glen Mist suited our older family of four to a tee, great accommodation, easy access to the Blue Mountain activities with spring jumping away it was lovely time away.

Lovely Cottage

Glen Mist is a lovely cottage in a quiet area, but close to both Katoomba and Leura. The inside space was clean, roomy, and comfortable.

Relax in comfort and style

We were two couples staying for two nights. I can honestly say that this accommodation was amongst the best ones we have stayed with a reasonable and fare price compared to other accommodations that offer less but charge more. It’s a beautiful house/home in a excellent position and area. Spacious rooms and living areas with a beautiful decor and very comfortable beds and lounge seating and chairs. Spacious and very well equipped kitchen with complimentary cooking products such as salt, oil, sugar, coffee and tea, paper towels and a stack of tea towels, hand sanitizer everywhere, shampoo and conditioner, moisturisers, etc. the linens and towels of a very good quality. It has everything you will need to relax and cook for yourself if you choose. The only improvement I will suggest is WiFi. Cleanliness is outstanding and the front yard is gorgeous. Extremely well maintained property that will allow you to relax and enjoy your stay. I will certainly come back for another relaxing break. Advice to anyone that is looking for accommodation in the blue mountains, checkout this one before booking somewhere else, it’s outstanding. Communication with the owners was a pleasure as they are prompt with their response to questions and very pleasant to talk to as well as very helpful with everything you need. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and pleasant.

Best of Stayz ever!!!

From the time we stepped into the gorgeous, chic house, we were impressed… by the cleanliness and well-equipped property. My husband reckons it is the best accommodation we’ve had in years. Personally, i think because i am the person of “high quality” eapecially when it comes to kitchen ranges, i loved the gas stove, Dolce oven, Dolce microwave, the two-door fisher & paykel dishwasher.. everything about the kitchen met my expectation. The owners take pride in hosting their property and were generous with supplies… coffee came with the brewing machine and condiments were there (although we did not require them). Will certainly come back to this property

Beautiful, clean and comfy

Everything was beautifully presented, clean and tidy. Comfortable bedding and lots of linen provided. Bathrooms immaculate. A very lovely weekend stay for our parents 80th birthday getaway. Only 1 suggestion for improvement, the lounges in the front room were highly uncomfortable and therefore the large tv should be relocated to the more comfortable leather lounges. Thank you very much for your hospitality and flexible check in and check out times!

Great weekender in the mountains

The house was just as described, spacious, perfectly clean with well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. A cold, blustery weekend in the mountains but 4 electric heaters, aircon and bedding kept us warm inside.

A great place to stay in Katoomba

My second stay here and hoping to come again soon. Lovely accommodation in a quiet but central position. Walk to Leura and Katoomba eateries. Very well equipped and beautifully clean. Loved the waratahs blooming in the garden.

Lovely house and garden in a quiet but central location

Definitely the best house in the Blue Mountains that we've stayed in. Clean, comfortable, spacious, warm and so well equipped. Hope to stay here again soon! Easy parking, 20 mins approx walk to middle of Katoomba where there are loads of dining options, and in a very scenic location. Excellent, thanks!

UTA Weekend

We stayed at this property for the Ultra trail race weekend, the accommodation is clean and very comfortable. The weather was extremely cold however the house has great heating system and warms up fast. Would definitely recommend this property.
