Cape View Cottage offers the comfort, style and location to suit families and couples and is the perfect base to explore the wonders of Kangaroo Island.

Relax and refresh in the stylish and fully equipped cottage, enjoy the large undercover outdoor and dining areas and absorb the beautiful seaside experience and tranquility the island offers.

Our unique wildlife will be regular visitors... local dolphins swimming past most mornings, resident wallabies feed on the lawn at dusk and the fairy penguins frequent the area.

The cottage is within a short walk to many extra delights and facilities including the beautiful and historic Baudin Conservation Park and the natural boating harbor and launching facilities of Christmas Cove. Restaurants, cafes, hotel and supermarket are within walking distance and provide an array of local food and wine.

The Sealink ferry terminal is a short distance from the cottage.

Cape View Cottage provides a perfect base for families or couples. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests with all facilities and comforts provided. The decor is stylish and the open living area and undercover outdoor areas allows for relaxed and informal living and catering. The back garden is fully fenced for peace of mind for parents with young children and undercover parking is provided

Loved everything about this little house on the beach front. Great views across the water to watch the ferries coming and going. Beautifully presented and clean. Walking distances to cafes and the Penneshaw pub. Would highly recommend

Perfect getaway cottage
Small but well appointed cottage in an excellent location. Lovely little back garden, and the verandah provided great views over the ocean - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day.

What a view
I loved this cottage. Its beautifully appointed, with everything you need. Watch the ferries come and go and walk on the pristine beach 50m away. Jayne, youre a fabulous host. Well done

Gorgeous place to stay
We were lucky to have 4 nights at this delightful accomodation in Penneshaw. It is one of the best places we have stayed. Lovely views from the main rooms including the bedroom, you can watch the ferry arrive and depart, walk up the beach to a great coffee shop and travel to interesting sites on the island. I highly recommend the cannery walk at American river, it is about 1 hour

The property has all that's needed for a perfect summer holiday. Well equipped kitchen. Super clean living area and very comfy beds. Lovely to sit out on the verandah and watch the dolphins. A very short stroll to the beach with its beautiful crystal clear water and white sands. Perfect!

Well appointed, had everything we needed. The heating and lights were on as we arrived after dark in winter. The owner was easy to contact when the directions given via stayz app were inaccurate. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Shower had good pressure. It was a pleasure to stay there. Thank you.

Beachfront Paradise
The property is immaculate. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed linen and towels were superb. The view from the front verandah is stunning and a perfect way to spend an afternoon watching the world go by. Jayne was the perfect host, meeting us on arrival and contacting us on the evening before we left the Island. We would highly recommend the property.

Beautiful Accommodation in Perfect Location
Cape View Cottage is a beautifully presented, three-bedroom cottage, right on the waterfront at Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island, SA. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and fully equipped for either short or long stays. The ocean views from the front rooms and covered front patio are stunning. Cross the quiet road in front of the property, and you are on the beach. The ferry terminal is only a 5 minute walk away. We were able to access the property early, around 11.30 a.m. Jayne, the owner popped by the first afternoon to say hello and check that we had everything we needed. The only tiny negative is a rather cramped bathroom design, but that's a very small thing to live with, considering all this property offers. Our only regret, … that we didn't stay longer! We hope to return to Kangaroo Island soon, and there is no doubt where we will be wanting to book. Cape View Cottage is a jewel in paradise.

Wonderful communication from owners. Especially when weather turned - great advice re ferry. The cottage is so tastefully decorated and easy to get around for my elderly mother. Location location location! Just perfect.

Il cottage è stupendo, si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia dalla quale abbiamo visto anche i delfini! La casa è completamente accessoriata, elettrodomestici di ottima qualità e qualsiasi cosa possa servire per poter cucinare. Anche il letto è comodissimo e con lenzuola morbidissime e profumate. Se dovessi tornare a cangaroo island alloggeremo sicuramente ancora lì!
