About this property

Modern, clean, fully furnished and self-contained studio flat with fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave etc.) and all essentials supplied. Located in a very tranquil leafy setting, with an abundance of bird life. The flat has a separate entry, and while you'll have complete privacy, it is located within our family home (we live upstairs). With this in mind we ask guests to be mindful of noise. Conveniently located to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, The University of Queensland, and Brisbane's CBD, with an easily accessible bus stop at the end of our street. Buses are less frequent outside peak hours and on weekends.
We have one dog who will be behind the fence and should not impact on your stay.

Comfy and convenient

Visiting Son in Brisbane

Great self contained accommodation in a quite and pretty location with local bus service at end of the road. Hosts were lovely and extremely helpful, would highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay

Its a wonderful self contained room in a lovely area with considerate hosts- perfect really! Note to anyone out there worried about the lack of air conditioning- its on the ground floor and lots of shade, the room doesn't really heat up

Lovely Location

It was a really nice little flat, good for a long or short stay. It was clean and the communication with the property manager was good aswell. But without a car maybe a bit to far from the CBD from Brisbane away, nethertheless a bus station is 5 Minutes away and comes once an hour.

Perfect for son studying at UQ

Home away from home

As new Brisbane residents our home away from home's location was in a great. Waking up to kookaburras singing and the walking trails close by made us feel like we were in the country but so close to the city for exploring. Our hosts were very helpful & friendly. Wonderful host and really comfortable accommodation

Highly recommended. Booked this place for three weeks for my daughter who needed somewhere to stay when she started a new job in Brisbane. Cara was so helpful, caring and friendly. My daughter found the room was lovely, clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was great for preparing her own meals. Access to the washing machine was also greatly appreciated.

2 week stay visiting family nearby

Well equipped, clean and tidy, unit is just as pictured. Beautiful walk to bus stop or walk just a bit farther to Abode for delicious coffee and fabulous menu. Hillsdon Grocery is a must for gourmet treats and grocery essentials. Hosts were quick to respond to email communication and very hospitable. Their attention to detail in the unit and offering access to laundry were extra nice. Highly recommend this quiet neighborhood and this lovely listing.

Peaceful Fully Furnished Granny Suit

My stay was 3 weeks long and I feel like it became my home! Great location - beautiful residential area with colourful trees and lots of birds, it was a 5 minute walk to bus stop. Hosts were lovely and very easy to communicate with. Gave great tips/recommendations about things to do and sites to see around town. Stay was clean, with comfy bed, and all the basic necessities. Laundry was such a bonus! Would highly recommend for short to long stays as well as solo travelers who may be shy/nervous - You'll feel like you're at home!

Great stay, great host!

Cara has put so much thought and consideration into the room! It had all the little things you may need, like a cheese grater, salt & pepper and other seasonings, a great selection of teas and coffee, a hair dryer in the bathroom… the list goes on! We also appreciated the little book with restaurants and things to do. Cara was very kind to us as well! The only thing that would’ve made the stay better would be better access to public transport, which is not her fault. If you have a car you’ll be just fine!

Perfect for what I needed, a base in Brisbane before a camping trip

Totally great place. Can only fully recommend. Clean, tidy, everything you need, and little personal touches. I especailly appreciated the slient fridge and bathroom fan, often really annoying in a small space but both were not noticeable. Lovely area. Easy to walk up into Mt Cootha, and up to the top if you want, walking distance from here. Host was away herself but checked in with an email. Totally professional.

A little Gem and so close to Brisbane

Can highly recommend this beautiful place. So close to Brisbane and Indooroopilly shopping centre but at the same time tucked away in a quiet relaxing cul de sac. Very friendly hosts, everything you need is there (and more) and quality products in the bathroom. Relaxing spot at the front to read a book with a cuppa. Bus stop nearby as well. Would definitely come back if I end up that way again!!

Lovely space, good location

Beautifully finished room with really nice kitchen and ensuite. There's a separate car park space and separate entry. The location is good- I had a vehicle which made it easier- but it's not far from the Brisbane river and all the good spots. Cara is a good and attentive host who communicates well.
