Kyvale Cottage - Country retreat

Spacious 2 bedroom country cottage set in 5 acres of open horse paddocks with views across the valley to the spectacular ridges behind.
A Byron Bay Hinterland get away for couples seeking peace and serenity, but still close to the cafes and restaurants of Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby, and the beaches of South Golden and New Brighton.

Relax on the deck and experience the beauty of the late afternoon light, while cooking some of the amazing local produce on the BBQ or just relax with a beverage around the firepit.
Your stay includes a welcoming committee including Bradley and Darcy our very friendly dogs also Angel our aged cat and Tess, Karisma and Symbar our horses.

Everything you need within the cottage is provided, modern kitchen, TV, Wifi, books an board games, air conditioning and heaters for those cool nights.

The cottage is attached to the main house by a breezeway which is screened for privacy.

Situated only 30 minutes from Ballina or the Gold Coast airports, we are ideally situated for that well deserved short weekend getaway or long break

Sorry, cottage is not suitable for children under 8 years.

A beautiful Mullumbimby area -country stay
A beautiful setting in the Mullumbimby area - looking out onto the mountain range. Robyn, the hostess, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cottage accommodation - very well appointed. Robyn's two dogs were delightful.

Wonderful Weekend Away
Cottage was lovely with a homely feel. Property was clean and had everything we needed including books and jig saw puzzles for the rainy weather we encountered. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit due to the rain. But will happily head back for another weekend away to get the full experience. Also loved meeting Brad and Darcy. Robin is a wonderful, friendly host and nothing is too much trouble for her. Loved the little personal touches like the jam, milk, slices of raison toast we found waiting for us to make us feel welcome. Fully enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay
Robin is a friendly and welcoming host and the Cottage is very comfortable and clean. A great place to stay, only ten minutes from the beach or cafes, but incredibly quiet and beautiful.

This granny flat was impecable. It has full kitchen and laundry.. It has large tv and lounge, separate dining area, two bedrooms and spacious bathroom. The outlok is to farm area, very scenic. Just a short drive to town. Robin was so helpful and obliging.

Brilliant!
We had a lovely time on Robin's property in her cottage, it looks so perfect we thought it was brand new. It's so blissfully quiet and the view is beautiful, we will certainly be back. Their 2 dogs are so friendly and just big softies. Thank you Robin for having us, it was lovely to meet you!

A Special Place
It was a very comfortable, well laid out cottage with a lovely outlook over the countryside. Has a large front verandah on which to relax while enjoying the view. It was well appointed with all you need to have an enjoyable stay.

Lovely relaxing holiday
We really enjoy staying at Kyvale. It is so very peaceful and relaxing but still close to beaches and the surrounding villages. The cottage is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Robin is a lovely host. We are already looking forward to our next holiday there!

Absolutely amazing
This cottage was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed for a two week long stay in the area. It was quiet, tranquil and Robin is the most excellent host. The check in process was so easy and she was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had leading up to booking and our arrival date. Throughout our stay Robin was so helpful, respectful and thoughtful and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly highly recommend this place.

Lovely cottage
We had a wonderful stay at Kyvale cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented with a full kitchen and lovely crisp linen. The Pocket is a quiet scenic area and the Main Arm General Store has a great Friday pizza night. We will be back!

A lovely weekend away
My sister and I had a wonderful weekend at the property with Robin and her menagerie. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable, with all the extra touches we needed to enjoy a weekend away. Extra points for all the love from the animals and the beautiful citrus!

Amazing Cottage
Our host Robin was friendly and went above and beyond for us. The cottage was beautiful & the views stunning. We would highly recommend this property for anybody looking for somewhere out of the rat race. We go back there again.

Beautiful secluded farm stay
Just a beautiful little cottage farm stay feel, could not fault a thing, everything beautifully presented, little details thought of from books, dvds and games on the shelf to a coffee pod machine. Gorgeous, peaceful country surrounds. A short 20min drive into Byron bay. The host was friendly on arrival and also gave us plenty of space. Will definitely be back, just loved everything! Great little spot
Needed somewhere not to far away from Byron Bay for a work trip. Conveniently located. Beautiful quiet location. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Robin was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, a lovely place to stay.
Lovely little place, clean, well maintained and has everything you need. Owner is lovely and welcoming and the dogs are so lovable. A little out of the way, but close enough to everything around Mullumbimby/Byron. We were expecting a stand alone private cottage, but the cottage is practically attached to the main residence. It wasn’t a problem, just unexpected based on the photos we had seen online. There is no cell reception and wifi is not the best, but this gave us a good opportunity to be off our devices for a few days. Overall a lovely place to stay.
