Shore Fin - Tuncurry

Our home is the perfect spot for your next holiday. It boasts a beautiful kitchen with loads of space and walk in pantry. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and other handy kitchen appliances, tea, coffee and sugar. Bright and airy the home has an open plan lounge/dining area to relax in and opens on to a side deck and spacious landscaped front courtyard with BBQ. It boasts 3 upstairs bedrooms with main bathroom and downstairs bedroom with ensuite, 3rd toilet in laundry.

Soaking in a deep bath after a lazy day at the beach, our home is ideally located in Tuncurry's golden triangle. Leave your car at home as everything is within walking distance. There is ample off street parking with lock up garage for cars and boats, as well as ample on street parking. It is a short stroll to the main shopping strip for all amenities as well as walking to our breakwall, surf beach and famous rock pool with a cafe that boasts breathtaking views. The Tuncurry Bowling Club, Sporties Club and the famous Bellevue Hotel are all close, as well as the Fish Co-op for fresh seafood. Forster is a breathtaking walk just over the bridge.

We were very happy with the property & was ideal for 4 retired work mate to catch up. We all had a great time & having the 4 bedrooms was ideal. Great location with just a stroll for a coffee and the bowls club so handy for dinners again help make the trip for us all.

Our overall experience with this property was nothing short of exceptional! Everything we needed for our stay was there. Excellent cooking facilities, beds (and pillows) were extremely comfortable, even board games and cards for evening entertainment. The check-in process was simple and seamless, the condition of the property was fantastic, and the location allows for easy walking access to the beach and shops. We highly recommend this property to anyone.

Great getaway
Shore Fin was a great place to stay for a long weekend that we wished was longer. Communication from owner was fantastic, property was perfect in all ways & didnt need to drive anywhere due to its location. Would definitely stay again.

Classy place to relax
I needed a high quality and modern place to serve as my home base while visiting Tuncurry. This property was perfect for me: modern, clean, close the lake and beach, with wi-fi and a garage for my car. I used only one of the bedrooms, which was terrific with nice en suite, but I had a look at the other bedrooms and they were spacious and well set up too. There are two outdoor areas to eat a meal, a BBQ, good laundry, spacious kitchen and comfy lounges in front of the big TV. I found the whole visit fuss-free and relaxing. One note for families might be that there is no yard apart from the two BBQ/dining areas, but a park and the lake and beach are within a 5-10 minute walk. A great venue if you want a building that is a cut above some of the older and more basic units that are available in Forster Tuncurry.

Not friendly host
We stayed for 5 days. I've never left a negative review and this will be my first. To be honest, not the friendliest host I've ever had, due to covid before I book I had two questions and the host response was short and no patient. There was no bed sheet provided which I find inconvenient. The 3 rooms upstairs were super hot during summer despite aircon near the stairs but not in the rooms. After the stay there were claims that we damaged the wall and we got charged $500 (very minor) and when I requested for more info because the picture provided were close ups and I couldnt see exactly where. The hosts response was once again rude and even called me to argue. I just needed to more info to know exactly where. Anyway, if you have other options, I don't recommend this one. They seem like a very picky host and want the place to be left spotless which is impossible. Host that you want to avoid.

Absolutely stunning property
Our stay at Tuncurry was amazing and Joanne's house was a show-stopper. The house was beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, well equipped and had plenty of space for the 6 of us (with more to spare). Joanne was great to communicate with and quick to respond to all messages/questions. Would highly recommend if you're looking to holiday in Tuncurry.
