What an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. We had our daughter's wedding at ST. MARY'S CHURCH and needed somewhere close to church so she and her little flowergirls could get dressed.
Ensuite mirror need’s raising
Full length mirror in a bedroom
Screen between units on the balcony
We had the most amazing stay and the apartment fit our needs perfectly
The facilities and furnishings were very comfortable and sitting on the balcony in the sunshine was delightful. We enjoyed our stay but it was quite noisy overnight due to roadworks/traffic and the heating. We loved the central location but didn’t realise the onsite parking was on the street and had assumed that there was secure parking.

Very Spacious, generous bedrooms with cimfy beds. The large Veranda was so relaxing while enjoying drinks & BBQs & just watching the world go by.However the cleaning was not up to scratch- dust & cobwebs inside & on the verandah & lots of leftover food in the cupboards & fridge - most of which was past its use by date.
Apartment was clean, huge with a balcony to die for. Unfortunately the balcony hadn't been cleaned. The apartment was spotless so this seemed odd. Beds super comfy. We found an ensuite which was a bonus. Would definitely come back. Bring friends, there is plenty of room.
Property is right in the heart of Castlemaine with a huge balcony overlooking the main street. Property was large with plenty of room. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.
The property is very central. Requires some minor maintenance. As per a previous review en suite mirror useless as top only comes to below chin height. Unfortunately other tenants below had their heating crank up before dawn on Friday morning and very noisy. Sunday morning just after 7am loud noise from heating again and somebody crashing around with dumpster bins or something? This detracted from our stay.
Very large accommodation right in the heart of town. Walk to everything.
Open plan with plenty of space. 3 double bedroom are all a good size although the en-suite is tiny.
The veranda is a highlight. We spent a lot is time sitting in the sun watching the world go by which was lovely.
No toiletries or hairdryer supplied so BYO!
Great location if you want to walk to shops, pub or cafes but no off street parking. Very spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen and a great balcony for dining or relaxing. Two bedrooms could do with dark curtains as the lightweight blind woke us at sunrise. (too early on holidays) The small en-suite basin has a mirror that is too low to see your face if you are over 5ft. The lounge are was spacious and comfortable and the bedding and linen very nice. We had a good time exploring the area.
