The Beach House @ James Well is ideal for a summer beach holiday or a cosy winter getaway.

Recently renovated, this quintessential beach house getaway offers an excellent holiday location for couples. Note: Bedroom configuration changed in December 23.

Soak up the spectacular 180 degree views of the sea and take long leisurely walks on the beach.

In winter pop something in the slow cooker for dinner and 'while away the time' reading a book or relaxing.

Fully self contained the beach house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 7 people (maximum 6 adults).

Spacious outdoor living areas, BBQ and clothes line. The well appointed kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and stock pot for cooking crabs.

Activities include swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, reading, board games. We have table tennis, cricket bat, kites and Bocci. Fishing Rods, Crab Rakes and Boogie Boards. Indoor activities include: 2 x TV's, a Wii console is provided with a selection of games, books and board games.

Just south of Ardrossan and ideally positioned as a base to explore the Yorke Peninsula.

BRING YOUR OWN: Linen (fitted & flat sheets), Pillow Cases, Bath Towels and Tea Towels.

Supplied: Quilts, Blankets & Pillows.

Our local shopping precinct at Ardrossan has many food options to ensure your needs are met, including cafes, hotels, bakery and fast food outlets.

Stock up on groceries, hang out at the beach house and enjoy the surrounds.

Drake's Supermarket is open 7 days per week (except 3 days per year) allowing you to shop when you arrive. Open Monday to Friday until 7 pm, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays until 5 pm. Subject to change, refer to their website.

James Well/Rogues Point has a tidal boat ramp. Ardrossan has a larger boat ramp facility which accommodates all tidal movements.

There is a shelter shed on the beach which is the perfect spot to to hang out for some beach time fun and relaxation.

Great holiday shack. Well equipped and lots for the kids to do. It’s a bit further back from the beach than I thought, but this did not deter from the fun we had….and the views were amazing!

Great, Family Friendly Holiday House
We had a great stay here. If only we could have stayed longer! The house had everything we needed for a family friendly stay. Clean, Comfortable and heaps of things to do. We will be sure to return again one day. Wonderful location!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House at James Well. Lovely house equipped with everything we need, was clean, comfortable and Stunning water views from the deck. Janet is a great host and very accommodating. Beautiful sunrises from the deck, crabbing at low tide, walks along the beach. We loved this place!

We loved our stay at The Beach House at James Well. Stunning water views from the back deck, warm and welcoming space, quiet area with clean and tidy amenities. We also appreciated the clear and friendly communication with the owner. This is a wonderful spot from which to explore the various towns and beaches on offer at Yorke Peninsula.

Such a beautiful place my husband and our 6 children (5 teenagers & a 4yr old) and it was perfect for spending time with loved ones. Everything that we needed was there, picture perfect sunrises from the deck, crabbing at low tide, walks along the beach even ping pong. We loved this place. 💕👍👍💕

Absolutely loved our stay
This property was fantastic for both adults and children. Very well equipped and plenty to do. My kids really enjoyed the table tennis and board games. It is a great spot. We caught a good feed of crabs. Janet the host was excellent in answering any questions we had. We will be back soon.

Good times at James Well
A few days at James Well before the kids went back to school was great fun with crabbing and exploring the beach. The house is well appointed and has a lovely outlook. The outdoor area getting dated and needed some maintenance.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It had many facilities we could use. The listing did not state about the use of rainwater for drinking and bathroom facilities. I felt the property manager was a little abrupt when I emailed her asking for answers to questions that I had overlooked on the website. But overall, a nice stay with a lovely decking area with beach views.

Great view and Location peacefull and Relaxing.
There are instruction notices to be mindful of placed throughout the home, however we viewed this with an understanding. Overall we were very impressed with the sea view from the back of the home and the short walking distance to the sea shore. We found the house very comfortable as it covered all our requirements. We had a great relaxing experience and left with some great memories. We do look forward in future to staying at this home again. Thank you !!!! and well done Janet.

The owner has a lot of rules & the house isn’t that great. She did not even supply a good sponge to wash the dishes. Has no dishwasher, linen needs to be brought in & a thick booklet of rules & locking & all of that . The house is barely a 3 star house & her rules are 5 stars & above with the minimum possible supplies .
