We were looking for a short winter escape, not too far from Sydney. We came across Chappies after a brief search on Stayz, and were more than happy with the experience. Chappies has a large secure yard, which was absolutely great for our collie dog. The host was great in advising us of the local attractions, along with some great local knowledge. I have to say Chappies was absolutely perfect for our stay, and definitely delivered more than we expected. Chappies is set back from the road on a large block with native gardens, which really contributes to a feeling of privacy. There was only one thing we didn't like about Chappies, and that was having to leave, but we'll be back in January.

Chappies is a fantastic little place, it's only a short little walk to the Callala Bay jetty. The house had all the mod cons and was lovely and clean. The fire kept it beautiful and warm and we were never short of wood, as Fiona (our host, was brilliant) regularly checked we had enough (there are big ceiling fans for the summer). The photos don't do Chappies justice; the furniture, bedding and even the BBQ all seemed new and some items had not even been used before. The yard was huge and our dog had a wonderful time running around the fully fenced yard. If you want somewhere that's really quiet, then this place is for you. We loved it and will be back!

The house was far nicer than the pictures uploaded. Very well equipped house with plenty of room for us. Close to the beach and the town centre. Fiona was very helpful during out stay, she responded to all my enquiry. Our dog loves the house too the well fenced garden was his favorite place to be.

Clean and tidy place, nice and new furniture/fixtures and fittings. Welcome homely feel, great back yard and facilities. Fiona was also really attentive and helpful. Area is great, particularly if you want peace and quiet with opportunity to explore the surrounding region. Thank you!
