Serendipity@7hill is a brand new home, designed and built with the express purpose of self contained accommodation.

We wanted to provide visitors to the Clare Valley with a different choice to the traditional cottage style accommodation so often found in this and other rural regions. Being away from home no longer means being without all the "mod cons".

You will find this a very large spacious home sleeps six in 3 master bedrooms with open plan living and fantastic outdoor entertaining area under the main roof. so there's plenty of room to relax and unwind. The property covers a full acre of land so you won't feel hemmed in. It even has it's own creek to really put that final touch on a stunning getaway, right in the heart of the Clare Valley wine region.

Convenience in abundance: Nestled on the Riesling Trail in the historic town of Sevenhill, within the Clare Valley wine region of South Australia. Imagine having a bakery right next door, a pub across the road and wineries within walking distance. Sounds like a dream?

Well not at Serendipity@7hill, It's all true!

We were so fortunate to find this unique parcel of land that we just had to have it. The stars aligned for us and gave inspiration for the property's name. By definition, Serendipity is the discovery of something truly special. Come see for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

There's so much to see and do in the Clare Valley no matter if it's your first visit or how often you return. There are around 30 cellar doors, many on and around the Riesling Trail. The region produces a wealth of gourmet foods, with many new restaurants and cafe's opening in and around the valley. With wonderous scenery steeped in history on quiet country roads, the Clare Valley will lure you back time and time again.

The are many ways to explore the Clare Valley. Walking trails, bike trails (bring your own or hire), bus tours, taxi and of course your own vehicle. The region offers many historical sights, breathtaking scenery and regular events. There are local producers markets, art galleries, antiques and retro stores, wine festivals, garden festivals, horse racing, golf and much,much more.

Standard rate is for use of only 1 bedroom. $300 per night for 2 bedrooms. $350 per night for 3 bedrooms. Minimum 2 night stay on weekends (ie, Fri & Sat or Sat & Sun). Surcharge for public holidays and events

Spacious house with all of the amenities. Seems brand new or newly renovated. In the heart of Clare Valley minutes away from all wineries. Beautiful deck with comfortable outdoor seating. We will return.

You can really feel the thought and consideration that has gone into furnishing and stocking the house. This was easily one of the cleanest houses we've stayed in. Fantastic and would definitely stay again in the future.

What a great experience. Perfect home to host 6 adults with everything you could expect and more. An incredible meal at the Sevenhill pub across the road and one of the best breakfasts at the cafe next door. Really couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely property and well appointed and super clean and would come back again for sure. Location was excellent and nice to have a cafe bakehouse next door. The only thing I would have liked for our group of three (one couple and one single) was access to the two bathrooms. We did share the one that was made available to us just a small thing we would have preferred. Overall it was a place we enjoyed being in. Clean comfortable and spacious.

The house is spotless (I rate it 7 out of 5) and has everything one could think of for your comfort. An amazing location next to the bakery and Sevenhill hotel (multiple award winner) and in close proximity to so many great wineries. What a find!

60th at serendipity
Wonderful clean accomodation, great for a group, next to hotel (which has amazing food). And bakery. We went to Paulette’s for lunch which took only 5min in taxi. I highly recommend. It was a great short break and a wonderful way to celebrate my special birthday

Very eccentric property near Clare wineries
It’s an interesting, quite eclectic property. Not the place if you want a calm, quaint or relaxing stay. There was clear communication and it was a spacious property. The paint and signage is jarring. There was some rubbish left from a previous stay but otherwise clean and tidy.

Nice house, had all amenities, one bathroom not ideal. Checkin code sent was late and incorrect couldn’t get in! Rang and messaged, no response, lucked out while waiting by trying random combinations of sent code, finally got in!

They could change the name to Tranquility very easily
We stayed here with friends and had our own separate area from them - so very easy to share with other couples. So much space, lovely gas heater kept the main living area toasty warm and then panel heaters in each bedroom made sure the cool nights didn't affect our nights sleep. The rain head showers were devine. Plenty of cooking utensils, every detail considered. Such a wonderful location - it really is right next door to the bakery and across the road from the hotel. Soft comfy beds and pillows, soft towels and comfy lounge. Directions left for how to operate all the equipment and attention to detail shown throughout. We'll be back soon.

The property was very roomy for 8 adults. The outdoor area was brilliant. The beds were comfortable & nice showers. Bakery next door with a pub across the road. Lots of wineries nearby as well. Overall had a very relaxing time in Sevenhill & would highly recommend this home away from home.
