This home is the perfect landing place for 2 people, especially if you like or love nature. Waking up to the view of the river just starts your day off with a smile. The kitchen has everything one would need and the couch is super comfy. Definitely will recommend! The owners have great communication. Such a great little Gem.
Great place to stay for the short 2 day ECU trip. Right on the river with a great view and was easy to check in. Place was clean and was very relaxing.
Loved the location! Great for walking through the park and Uptown. Very cozy! Appreciated the nice towels, equipped kitchen, lots of windows for watching the wildlife! Owner responded quickly to needs. We would stay there again.
Very clean cottage. Many extras provided to make your stay more comfortable. Loved all the plants and birds. Made a work trip much bearable. Will stay again if available when I return.
Great location and served our needs well. Comfortable accommodations ... they made great use of a small space and very nicely decorated. Only negative was the check in process ... I had trouble with the VRBO App so there was a problem communicating.
We absolutely adored this little cottage on the river! It was nice and tucked away, there wasn’t much street noise at all, watching the birds in the morning when you wake up was really nice. I can’t say enough great things about sitting on the deck and drinking my morning coffee. The cottage has been very nicely done. We will for sure be back to stay here again as my husband’s entire family lives in Greenville. Happy to know we have a place to stay. The owner was EXTREMELY accommodating because we arrived super late at night (2:00a - 10 hour drive from Florida) and he made sure we had coffee for when we woke up. 10/10 highly recommend this cozy cottage on the river!!!! ♥️
Sweet little open 1 bedroom very small home. Nice deck with river view. Clean and comfortable bed.
Comfy couch. Nice kitchen. Soaps included. Mini split works great. 2 TVs that are perfect! Although we didn’t watch them. LOL!
Location is near a great walking pathway along the Tar River and downtown. Great communication with owner. Outdoor flowers were lovely. Best part was seeing the Great Pilliated Woodpecker. Home could use a little refreshing on the outside… front door needs painting and the deck and chairs needed to have the debris blown off. The material on the recliner chairs is ripping, so we were a little afraid to sit on them. The deck table and 2 chairs also needed to be wiped off. Bathroom could use a hook to hang your clothes on and some Kleenex! Bedding was lovely and the kitchen sink was cool. Coffe was provided! That was a win!
Perfect place to land if you’re visiting ECU. Close to campus and downtown. Cozy little bungalow that overlooks the river. We didn’t have an issue with noise, but it is located near students. Would absolutely stay here in the future!
This cute little house is a perfect location for access to downtown Greenville and the ECU campus, especially by bike. The host was very helpful with a bike issue that we had. The location is very private and peaceful. We plan to return in the future to explore more of the greenways.
We were in town visiting family and just needed a small place to stay for the 2 of us and our dog. We loved the location of this little cottage. The greenway route goes in front of the property, awesome if you ride bikes or like to walk. The river front park is a short walk and there is a kayak rental business for anyone that wants to paddle the Tar River. We didn't stay inside much because we like to explore the area, so many cool places within a mile or two walk. The view from the bed was wonderful watching the birds at the feeder and the river, you would hardly know you were in the city. It was really quiet on our visit, but I could see that may be different on a game day weekend. Marc does warn of this in his description, because it is a college town neighborhood. Marc was a great host and communicated well about check in details. The cottage had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. We really appreciate it being dog friendly and Reedy says thanks for the treats you left him. We would love to stay here again when in the area. Next time we will bring our bikes/kayaks. Thanks Marc, we enjoyed meeting you and your boo.
My husband and I celebrated our 32 nd Anniversary at this beautiful cottage by the river. Watching the river and the morning birds right from the queen size bed was wonderful. The cottage was the perfect size for two with our small dog. Shady riverside walking path .8 miles to the large dog park. We enjoyed walking over the bridge to the community park as well very close by. The cottage was quiet and private. We would be glad to come back again.
