Relaxation and tranquility
What a place! Jo and Shane have created a beautiful sanctuary to stay in amongst the rugged coastline and rolling hills. For us, it was the little touches... The rain shower after a long days walk, the smells of essential oils from the natural products Jo has created, the amazing restaurant-quality homemade dinners and delicious desserts... Relaxing with a movie in the evening or watching the weather roll in. We feel so refreshed and nurtured. Thank you to you both.

A perfectly relaxing and peaceful stay
My partner and I had a wonderful night stay. Shane was welcoming, and so helpful. We ordered room service and the food and presentation was delightful. My favourite part was the amazing smell in the room and Jo’s homemade products in the bathroom. Thank you! We can’t wait to visit again when we need some quite down-time away from the kids!

Great Stay, Convenient, Jo and Shane are amazing hosts
Jo and Shane made our stay very relaxing, comfortable and made us feel at home in middle of the beautiful GOR. They are there to welcome you, make you so feel so comfortable and relaxed right from the moment you step in their property. Amazing breakfasts and dinners (we had their home cooked meal one night), highly recommended. They also gave us recommendations to visit a couple of places nearby which was really helpful. We felt absolutely relaxed, recharged and rejuvenated in the 2 days we spent at Chi Medicinal Farm.

Hidden gem on the great ocean road
I had only one night stay here but can highly recommend this place for a stop over while on the great ocean road. Definately take up the offer to have dinner delivered to your room. It’s delicious. The rooms are comfty and well styled and smell amazing from the homemade organic skincare the owners make.

Beautiful B&B in the Quiet Countryside
My husband and I stayed at the Chi Farm B&B in May 2018 for 2 nights. Perfect location if you are traveling along the Great Ocean Road! The space was immaculate. The location was tranquil. Jo & Shane prepared amazing meals for us which were prepared with fresh ingredients and products from their farm, as well as their neighbor's farm. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling along the Great Ocean Road! Shane was so kind and helpful. The only downfall was that we were unable to meet Jo.

O.M.G. WOW!
My husband and I stayed here for two nights to explore the Great Ocean Road. It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast, because we usually like our own private self contained place. Jodie, wow. Jodie is awesome. Upon meeting us, she made us feel so welcome. She immediately took us to the room, which she preheated, it was getting rather chilly outside. The room was comfy, large TV, a nice little corner table to eat and do whatever we needed to do on it, bathroom was amazing - especially the rainfall (?) waterfall(?) showerhead. I read in previous reviews to make sure I get dinner at least once during my stay. No regrets, I'll die happy. Our food arrived exactly at 7pm as requested, husband enjoyed the beef and I the fish. OMG OMG OMG - DO NOT SKIMP OUT ON DINNER - IF SHE ASKS IF YOU WOULD LIKE DINNER, YOU SAY YES. We wolfed down the food like two starving kids, it was SO DELICIOUS! I wanted seconds, and immediately looked forward to our breakfast. There is a great selection of movies saved onto foxtel, so don't worry, you are well entertained. We also took a walk to see their chickens and got to meet their sweet puppy. There are local kookaburras flying about, and at night we heard a koala grunting away. The bed was extremely comfortable. Let me say, Jodie's loveliness, her delicious home cooked meal, the shower, and the bed, sent me into dreamy dreamy land... I had the hardest time getting up in the morning, but knowing breakfast was arriving soon motivated me out of bed, and yes... breakfast was divine. We met Shane on our last day, as he was away. JUST AS LOVELY AS JODIE!!!! We ended up being behind our travel schedule because we just kept chatting! Seriously, I will be back, and I am recommending this place to everyone I know. The location is quiet and peaceful, and within an easy driving distance to Cape Otway Lighthouse, a few place for easy bushwalks, the 12 Apostles and the other cool coastal look out places. Thank you Jodie and Shane!!!

Nowhere else we'd rather stay at
Staying at Chi Farm was absolutely magical. Jo and Shane put so much effort into making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, and they pour so much love into every single detail, from the interiors, decorations, to the food. Breakfast was wonderfully prepared with fresh produce from the farm and local sources - the pancakes are the best we've ever tasted, and the tortilla was very special too. Dinner was an absolute treat - do make sure you have dinner at least one night of your stay! Needless to say, we were absolutely spoilt by their hospitality. The location of the farm is just off the hustle and bustle, and a perfect base for exploring Great Ocean Road. Shane was always helpful and gave us the best recommendation of visiting the Californian Red Woods nearby - we were so taken away by the calmness that descended upon us. It really takes you to another place and time. We were incredibly sad to leave Jo, Shane and their gorgeous pup Mischa, but we are sure that we'll be back as soon as we can.

Great Stay
Well located with lots of different activities within an hours drive. Great room and bathroom. The breakfasts were amazing, and they also provide in room lunch/dinner which was also delicious. Great value for money. Owners were absolutely lovely and we look forward to returning in a couple of years to see how their farm evolves.

Friendly Host!
Jodie & Shane were very friendly & helpful (unpacking our groceries into the fridge). The breakfast was awesome fresh (pancakes with strawberries - from their farm). The room was clean & the bed comfortable. The bathroom decor was admirable, the featured wall was lovely to look at.

200m from Great Ocean Walk
Excellent B&B only 200m from the Great Ocean Walk and beach. This is a small B&B run by a friendly couple who cook great food for dinner and breakfast. The guest rooms are newly renovated and provide a great respite about half way through the Great Ocean Walk. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - and even have Foxtel for those interested. The owner was flexible and happy to drop us back at our car after we have finished walking.

Beautiful place and location!
We loved our two nights here! Jo and Shane were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable, and they gave us lots of local knowledge around things to do that suited us. The room and location are beautiful, so relaxing. Also Jo cooks the most amazing breakfast. I have already recommend this place to friends and will be back myself!

Awesome!!
My daughter and I stayed at "Chi" for a couple of nights and really loved it! What a gorgeous setting and perfectly located as a base to explore the area. Although small, we thought the B'n'B was trendy and had everything we needed. But our hosts Jody and Shane were the real treat; they made us feel so welcome; and really ensured we enjoyed our stay. Their organic food/cooking was simply amazing - 10/10! If you are looking for a restorative, rejuvenating experience this is the place!

We found our Chi!
Our stay at the Chi Farm B&B was nothing short of perfect. Made so in particular by our hosts Jo and Shane, who made us feel very much at home. If you like re-connecting with nature, enjoying amazing food and re-charging your batteries..this is the place for you. My husband and I were so happy that we could stay at this beautiful place. 5 minutes walk away from the beach, very close to the Great Ocean Walking track and wildlife. Jo and Shane told us about a secret spot nearby where we could see koala's and we were able to see many of them without anybody else around. I won't give the location away. You will just have to book yourself in to find out. Another very important thing to mention that the breakfast and dinner provided by Jo was really extraordinary. Real food for the soul with local produce (from their garden) and definitely a highlight of our stay. We will definitely come back again and will recommend this blissful place to our friends&family. Thanks again Jo and Shane :-)

Relaxation bliss!
The Chi farm lived up to its name and inspired a relaxing, blissful, and luxurious state. Picture this: you spend a full day being sidetracked by the Great Ocean Road’s rugged beauty, you drive for 6 hours total, and you are tired in every way (somehow physically as well). After all this, you roll in to your accommodation to find that it is the perfect remedy to your excess of windy roads, a billion photos, car snack food, and general weariness. The room itself is amazing, with a lovely bed and a beautifully designed bathroom that boasts a rainfall shower which forces you to close your eyes and rely on your other senses. Shane greeted us and gave us the low down (upon Breakfast reflection we wished that we’d made haste to get there in time for dinner) on the property, and had even had for us waiting some of the best strawberries I’ve ever eaten. Homegrown of course. It was the perfect complement to the wild nature we’d experienced all day to find this wholesome, domestic bliss. The following morning we joined Jo and Shane for breakfast which was simply amazing. As someone who’s laboured over perfecting pie crust pastry in the past it was great to be able to see Jo’s setup and then experience the fruits (well, vegetables) of her labour on our way back through. Our hosts were so welcoming, and it felt natural to eat the beautifully cooked breakfast in their home over some coffee and conversation rather than take it back to the room. Overall I can’t recommend Chi Farm enough, and I won’t be surprised if I need to start planning ahead for my next visit now because I feel like an experience this special won’t stay secret for long- which I’m happy about! Thanks guys- look forward to seeing you again! P.S Ask Shane about the long way to access the Otway peninsular lighthouse as it was a pretty amazing drive filled with Echidnas, Koalas, with Wedgie Eagles hovering above.

A beautiful stay at a surreal location
We loved our stay at the CHI medicinal farm with Jo and Shane. The property is new, nice and clean. I would love to go and stay there again. The home made food cooked (all organic) was scrumptious. My husband loved his morning coffee. All just amazing.

Jo and Shane are perfect hosts! We enjoyed our stay, especially our communication with both of them just about everything. Here we have found two people we would like to stay in touch with.
