Set in a private bush location offering seclusion and tranquility the cottage offers views over the surrounding farmland towards the coast. The living/dining areas are open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. The cottage accommodates 2 people in a queen sized bedroom downstairs or 2 singles on the mezzanine floor - not suitable for young children as the stairs are quite steep. We are located on a 70 acre property close to the State Forest and just 15 minutes drive from Busselton. Chapman Hill affords easy access to Margaret River, Dunsborough and all other south west locations. Pleasant walks can be enjoyed around the property and in nearby forest with a natural bush pool including picnic facilities just a short drive away.

All stages of the stay went well with excellent communication from the hosts. Directions seemed too simple but were very accurate. Hideaway is an absolute gem, great mix of modern and vintage. jarrah floors, air con, great shower and quietness., only bird song perfect for me.
We had an amazingly restful, peaceful stay where we could just ‘be’. The cottage at Chapman Hill gave us that, so needed. We wanted for nothing. Morning coffees and evening wine on the balcony with the company of so many beautiful birds was just magical. Thank you x
This was a great place to stay to finish our time in WA. Very comfortable and clean, peaceful surroundings and well equipped. We loved sitting on the verandah and watching the birds. We would happily stay again.
My partner and I had a wonderful stay on this peaceful property. Being visited by the birds in the morning and cows in the afternoon created a wholesome vibe. We highly recommend and are looking forward to booking again in the future ☺️
What a gem of a place. We stayed for 4 nights to explore the south west area. This cottage could be used to just get away from it all, waking up to the sound of birdsong and trees rustling or, as we did, as an ideal base to start each days journey.
We would happily return.
This is a gem of a holiday stay away for a couple. Beautiful and comfortable cottage, scenic surroundings, and very well equipped! We wanted for nothing :-)
We loved it. My husband said it's one of the best places we've stayed in! Enjoyed being in the middle of the bush plus the cows next door. Lovely cottage with verandah, nicely decked out, nice features etc, aircon works well. Very kind and helpful hosts. Would have liked to stay longer!!
I’ve been coming here for several years to get away from the pressures of the city. It never fails to relax and rejuvenate. The hosts are lovely. The place is perfect
We have stressful jogs in Perth and the cottage was secluded on a farm but only 15 minutes ti town
Decor was superb as it is immaculate as it was reminiscent of my wife’s and my own parents time. Modern facilities and nothing left out for a comfortable stay.
Can’t recommend it highly enough.
The property is perfect for getting away from it all, no traffic noise and the house is well equipped and clean. Just a short drive back to the attractions of the South West and coastline. There are no negatives to this property.
What a fabulous place to stay, peace and quiet, no WiFi no problem, the service on my phone gave me 5g sometimes 4g, I was able to pay my tax back in the uk online from the dining table. The wildlife around the cabin was amazing. The cabin has everything you want, cooker, microwave, kitchen and the sink 😂. Washing machine and a line to dry the clothes on(even the pegs). We intend to book again as soon as we can get back to Australia. The whole area from Augusta to Busselton was all within easy reach and plenty to do. If you don’t cook yourself, there’s plenty of eating establishments not far away in the car. Would highly recommend.
We came down for a relaxing break and it was more than we expected. The peace and quiet was awesome. Just the sound of birds and the odd cow moo. We live near an airport. We were getting up at 8am most days which is unheard of at home. Credit must go to the cleaner as the cottage was very clean. Hippo lakes is walking distance from the cottage and thoroughly recommend a visit and meal. Only comment we could give to improve the visibility would be signage to the property could be better. We drove past before we realised where it was.
