About this property

This cosy weatherboard cottage is perfect for a holiday break or getaway. It is close to Aldinga Bay's best beach (Silver Sands) which you can walk to (2 minutes) or drive onto - it also has a child friendly no-car zone. You'll love the views over the famous Washpool Lagoon and farmland to Willunga Hill and Sellicks Beach.

Walk along the beach or through the Washpool area or conservation park, cycle along the esplanade to the cafes and famous 'Star of Greece' restaurant or jump into your car and visit the fabulous wineries, cafes, restaurants, festivals and markets in and around McLaren Vale and Willunga and watch the sun set from the Victory Hotel overlooking the statue of Buddha and Aldinga Bay.

Linen is provided except for beach towels.

We (my husband and me) spend a few nights at this cosy place, enjoying long beach walk and great scenery. My husband is a photographer and he said there is the best visual poetry written in the sand. We wish to return here soon.

Cosy and quiet

A cosy and quiet location near the ocean with beautiful views of the hills from every window. Great selection of board games and dvd's and breakfast supplies, teas, fruit and other surprises that saved us a trip to the supermarket after big days out. Excellent host.

Basic but has everything

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here. Very clean, comfortable and close to the beach. Especially grateful for Judith's generosity in a welcoming chocolates and bubbly to help us celebrate. Will be back!

Silversands weekend

On entry you could smell that the home was clean, next the views of the hills, stunning! It felt very homey, and everything we needed to make our stay easy and relaxing was right there, including some yummy treats in the refrigerator. Both my husband and I had a very relaxed and comfortable weekend and will definitely be back, 5 🌟 all the way 😊

Wonderful

The place was ideal! Very clean and Judith had gone to a lot of trouble to stock the fridge and cupboard with condiments so we didn't have to shop! It was just what we needed, a place to bunk down at night as we were out most of the day and the kids had a chance to go for a couple of swims as we don't get that chance living in Alice Springs!

South coast chill out

The cottage as exactly as described online, with a magnificent outlook over a conservation park and the Willunga hills. A very short stroll to the beach and a complimentary pass if you’d like to take the car on. Super peaceful. The owner has gone beyond to make it a comfortable and welcoming, relaxing stay. Crisp white bed linen, fluffy bath towels, spotlessly clean. She even surprised us some breakfast choices and some extra special treats. Short drive to farmers markets and eateries. We would highly recommend this sweet beachside cottage and can’t wait to stay again.

Quiet with hills views, good price.

Very clean with everything you could need....milk in the fridge, fly spray, mozzie repellent etc. Would definitely stay again if going this way.

Easy family getaway.
