About this property

This home was built with family in mind. Our daddy built it so that he and mom could enjoy everything they needed upstairs with a beautiful view out every window. Bull Shoals is breathtaking, especially at sundown and with the house on a bluff 300 feet above the lake, you will not find a better view. Dad built the downstairs with 3 bedrooms, a full bath, living, and kitchenette area, so that when the kids came up to visit they had their own space (and so Mama didn't have to see the mess). Two full beds, one queen downstairs, one king bed, one full bed and one twin bed upstairs, and two air mattresses. Property is 8 miles from public boat ramp/park and less than 10 miles to local golf club. It is just 45 minutes from Branson. You will enjoy relaxing on one of the porches overlooking the "best views on the lake”, according to all the locals. Property is perfect for multiple families. Full kitchen amenities upstairs with mini kitchen downstairs. Garden tub located in the master suite is relaxing after a day on the lake. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we have.

Great Place

We had a great time here with family! This place was spacious for our large family. We all had plenty of room. We loved the large table to play board games, the kitchen area for cooking, the two separate living room areas (one for the kids & the other for the adults), & the gorgeous view of the lake. We even got to see a bald eagle fly over twice! Would definitely recommend this place.

Thanksgiving family getaway

We loved everything about this reservation, beginning to end.. The price excellent, communication with the host was great very attentive just wonderful. We enjoyed everything about this beautiful home, the space the comfort the views and just the privacy from the loud cities… Our drive from Dallas to Yellville was just pleasant all the way enjoying the views and being to arrive at a nice time …My whole family is very happy with this experience all together, we even got to go to the Titanic Museum as a day out, thank you! We all recommend this beautiful comfortable home!

Best View Ever!

We went with 3 families for a quick weekend getaway and had the best time! The house is perfect for large groups and is stocked with everything you need for a home away from home. The balcony was our favorite because the view could not be beat. The beds were comfy and there were air mattresses available for extra guests and plenty of bedding. The host was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back! I'm missing my morning coffee on that balcony!

Very relaxing peace and quite in a comfy home with great views!

My wife and I spent three nights here with our children (10 & 12). Once we got settled in, we all felt like we were at "Grandma's house" (If only my grandparents had a view like that!). It was beautiful, peaceful, quiet & relaxing. I wish we had spent a little more time just hanging out at this beautiful home rather than boating all day.

Amazing view!

This is I believe our 3rd year staying here. We love the house! It fits all of us nicely and comfortably. House is always clean and the kitchen has everything you might need, at least it does for us anyway. Love the decor! The host responds quickly to messages and is very nice. The view of the lake from the back balcony is truely amazing! The house is a short drive to the 125 Marina to rent a boat. It's a bit of a drive to Branson, but there's allot to do in Branson, so well worth it. This year the office was converted into a twin bedroom and the diningroom is now a full bedroom. This worked out great! Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful view with lots of space

We loved staying on this property. The view was incredible-we just made sure the kids weren’t out back without adult supervision because of the drop off. There was so much space, even for 15 of us. The kitchen pretty much had all the dishes and cooking tools we needed to prepare and eat all our meals there. The space was clean and comfortable and we received quick responses to questions.

Peaceful

We wanted a secluded location and we got it. Our stay was very peaceful. Close enough to tourists attractions and the drive to them was beautiful. We usually take our Harley but was glad we hadn’t as the road the the house would not have been feasible for a couple of old people on a bike and rained 1st few days. Haha. The owners were great, The Well pizza and coffees highly recommended. Christian atmosphere all around!!! Thanks for sharing your home!!

Best view on the lake!

You will enjoy drinking your morning coffee or relaxing after dinner on this porch watching the sunrise or sunset! The home is large, we had a group of 13! The den and the kitchen area were perfect for our group. There is also a downstairs den if some of the group wants to split up. The three bathrooms worked great for our size group. There are 6 bedrooms with various size beds. We did have to use couches/ air mattresses, so be aware that for actual beds it sleeps about 11, but there are couches and air mattresses available for kids/ teens. We had a great boat rental experience with Marina 125, about 20 minutes away. If you haven't been to this end of Bull Shoals Lake- try it out! We went the weekend leading up to the 4th and it was super quiet and relaxing for our group out on the water. We went to the grocery before we drove in and I am glad we did. There is a good Dollar General nearby, but not stocked with all that you would want for a whole weekend/ week. You won't regret renting this place!

Needs some additional things!

Place was great, but a few things are missing: Washcloths, dishcloths, only 4 teaspoons in kitchen, mixing bowls, another one or two spatulas, storage containers (many lids, but no containers), lightbulbs were out, especially on stairway. Another suggestion would be more seating in living room & a list of local tv stations(no streaming during rain). Also, some more seating for upper deck, some comfy furniture for people to sit on and enjoy the view. It was really hot, so we stayed in one day and the next day it rained.☹️ Place was very relaxing and all of us enjoyed it. This review is just a few things that need updated. Thanks again for a nice place for our group to stay!

Great Stay!

The property was very clean. The rooms were very comfortable and each decorated uniquely. The purple room was supposed to have a pull out couch, I don't believe it was, but no worries, there were two queen blow up mattresses in the closet with extra blankets so it was very accommodating. The whole house is decorated so uniquely, with allot of Coca Cola memorabilia, allot of crosses and scripture quotes and saying. Very nice! Loved the Master bedroom! It's bathroom had two separate sinks, a shower, toilet in a small room within the bathroom, and of course the jacuzzi, which was very nice, but sadly didn't have a chance to use it. The Master bedroom is big enough that our daughter and her husband brought their own blow up mattress and stayed in it with us, still plenty of room. The view was spectacular!!! Sunrises and Sunsets are just magnificent from the balcony. Our group of 13 was there the end of June, beginning of July and it was great to sit on the balcony or in the living room and watch the fireworks across the lake and right next door. It was awesome! Sitting on the deck we also saw a bald eagle fly by, it was so cool! Just like pictured in the description of the listing. I wish it was a little closer to grocery store and marina, but we made it work and we had a great time. Can't remember if it was in the listing or a review, but it mentioned you should do your shopping and bring the things needed, food wise, so we did just that. Otherwise anything else you might need was already there, cooking pots, utensils, glasses, plates etc. Thank you George & Collie for sharing your beautiful home and Thank you Tresha for reponding to my messages so quickly, and answering all my questions. Your home is very hospitable. I would definitely recommend this Vrbo listing.

Relax and enjoy the peaceful views from the back porch. This was our daddy's happy place. He would sit and read his Bible in the mornings while enjoying his coffee and God's beautiful creation. So many memories of him talking about his childhood and reminiscing about our childhood and all that God has blessed us with.
A beautiful short drive to Branson.

Why they chose this property

This would be a lovely place for a small wedding. The views are breathtaking and there are two large flat areas for outdoor seating/reception area. The upstairs living area would also accommodate a small reception. Also perfect for multiple families to enjoy as there is lots of space.

What makes this property unique

The peaceful view and atmosphere makes this the perfect place to get away from the stresses of life and work. This home can easily sleep 16 if you don't mind sleeping on comfortable couches and blow up mattresses. If your number exceed this due to small children please let us know. There is an extra cleaning fee of $10 per stay for each guest over 10.
