Molly's Chase offers quality accommodation in 2 log cabins, tucked away on over 50 acres of natural, hilly bushland. Both cottages are identical and out of sight of each other, so offering peace and privacy. Mollyfies cottage faces west with views towards our seasonal lake, and Mollycoddles cottage faces east with great views over our valley. Each cabin has two queen size bedrooms with spa bathroom and separate loo. There are living dining and kitchen areas.
WELL BEHAVED DOGS ARE WELCOME..
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TWO CABINS NOW HAVE SEPARATE LISTINGS ON STAYZ.. For Guest Reviews for Mollyfies, please see the Mollycoddles page. For a larger group (up to 8 people), you can book both cabins.
Cabin features include DTV/DVD, with a selection of CD's and DVD's. There is a combustion stove to cuddle up in front of, as well as reverse cycle air conditioning, free wifi and outdoor barbecue facilities. There is a fully appointed kitchen with microwave and gas cook top, as well as all the cutlery and crockery you need. All bedding and towels are provided, as well as light breakfast provisions which are left in the cabin for your arrival.
We have some lovely walking trails on the property and wildlife lovers won't be disappointed as we are visited by several species of kangaroo and wallaby, as well as wild deer and a wide variety of birdlife. If you are lucky, you may see echidna or long necked turtles. For the bush walker, Spring Gully Conservation Park is at the end of Leighton Road.
We are handy for the Riesling and Rattler Trail, with around 60km of cycling/ walking track along the old railway. Cycles can be hired from Cogwebs in auburn or Clare Valley Cycles and delivered to the cabin.
Obviously, one of the main attractions is the range of friendly wineries, but we now have a number of breweries as well. With over 40 cellar doors, you can taste some of Australia's best wines, with a good chance of meeting the winemakers.
Our local hotel at Sevenhill was recently voted the best country dining in South Australia, with good food and the best range of Clare wines anywhere.
Clare townshiip is a few minutes drive away and has a range of shops, supermarkets and services.
Other attractions nearby include Martindale Hall, a National Trust listed stately home, Mintaro where the whole village is Historic Listed and the old mining town of Burra.
Your four legged friend is not forgotten,. Well behaved and house-trained dogs are welcome and are allowed to run off-leash around the property. All we ask is that you keep them off the bedding and soft furnishings and that they are not left unattended in the cabin.
