Beautiful property and excellent hosts. Very relaxing place to getaway and enjoy the area. Will definitely return for future holidays!Thank you Carolyn and Harry
The property is very peaceful and well kept. The grounds are spacious and beautiful. Many great beaches nearby and there is much to do on the accommodation such as pool, darts, fishing, walking. Harry and Carolyn also offered to take us to see and feed their cows and goats. A very enjoyable stay!
We had a great few days here. Harry and Carolyn's hospitality was superb and really made us feel comfortable to relax and enjoy the whole property. They were kind enough to let us participate in moving the cows and brushing and feeding the goats, which was a great experience for the whole family.
A fire was set for us. We enjoyed the games room.
The unit itself and surrounding garden are gorgeous, but there's a whole surrounding property to walk and enjoy as well. Even the roads leading to the property were a pleasure to drive.
Really glad we chose to stay! Highly recommended.
We had a great time at the farm. Our hosts did everything to accommodate us. They took us for rides around the property, the kids could feed the animals. We lived the fireplace in the house and the game room kept the kids entertained. We will be surely back :)
What a beautiful property. The lake and gardens have many large native birds, sulfur crested cockatoos, yellow tailed black cockatoos, kookaburra, Adelaide Rosellas, as well as smaller birds. The goats have a wonderful playground to enjoy. So fun to watch their antics. One of our guys even caught a fish in the lake on his first day! (Rods provided by the hosts)
We were also lucky enough to see 2 koalas in trees beside one of the dirt roads leading down to the main road.
The area is lovely and relaxing too, we found lots of lovely coffee shops and places for eating out.
And for the colder weather there is a fireplace which heats the place up beautifully.
Great hosts, Carolyn and Harry were very friendly and helpful. Going the extra mile to make our stay so wonderful.
This was a beautiful place to stay, and waking up to that view every morning was stunning. The gardens were gorgeous. Great for a restful weekend if you don't have to go anywhere. I just wish I had a bit more time to enjoy it.
My fiancé and I booked this place to stay for the weekend while we were in the area for a wedding. We ended up having to book an extra night earlier than originally planned which Carolyn replied to promptly and the process was easy.
The unit had everything we needed and although attached to the main house, still felt like our own private area.
The grounds are beautiful and Harry and Carolyn gave us a great experience before we left, letting us pat their very friendly goats and went for a drive around the property visiting the cows. They clearly love their animals (every single one has a name!) and were so accommodating to us.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
We had a lovely time, the kids loved getting to pat the goats and look at the cows. Location is just beautiful, overlooking a lake and beautiful garden around the house. Hosts were so accomodating and very patient explaining to the kids about the animals. Thank you Carolyn and Harry,
Amazing stay , very calm place where you can reset and chill. Definitely recommend to book, close to Adelaide, Victor Harbour and national park. Absolutely love it
We had a lovely time at the property. Carolyn and Harry were very welcoming and available to assist with anything.
Such a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of space to walk around and see and feel like the place was yours.
The accomodation was clean and homely with an amazing view of the dam.
Couldn’t recommend staying here highly enough for anyone looking to escape in to a real country experience
It was such a great experience over here, an escape from the bustling world. The hosts were amazing as the property was. The goats and calves were very adorable. Needless to say night sky was awesome too.
Our family of four had the most amazing time at this relaxing and peaceful farm house. The house itself was immaculately clean and very cosy. We had a lot of space to chill and plenty of beautiful gardens and wildlife to observe and enjoy. Our two kids (aged 5 and 7) absolutely loved the experience of feeding the gorgeous goats and calves. They also enjoyed a spot of fishing with Dad in the properties dam and caught a fish. Communication with Carolyn and Harry was easy and they were so helpful, every step of the way. I would recommend this farm stay to anyone and would love to stay again.
The property is located on a farm, it's extremely peaceful and has spectacular views. Harry very kindly took me with him to feed the cattle, which was something I wasn't expecting. We saw lots of wildlife during the weekend and really enjoyed taking in the scenery.
It's around a 15 mins drive to Willunga where we got breakfast and lunch.
The property is comfortable with great amenities, we will recommend to friends.
Carolyn and Harry also have a pool table and darts board in a room separating the main house from the cottage, unfortunately we didn't get time to use it but a great idea if you're just going for a chilled break. Carolyn and Harry are very quiet neighbours, if you need them you can knock on their door, otherwise, they'll leave you to it. Thanks both.
This is a beautiful farmhouse with lots to see and explore. We all enjoyed interacting with the goats and feeding the cows. The property has beautifully landscaped gardens and the view from the house is gorgeous.
The house itself has a rustic style, which may not appeal to all, but it was immaculately clean and very comfortable.
The only suggestion would be breakfast provisions or at least some basic items such as milk for the coffee and tea, as there are no shops in the vicinity.
