Ambers Beach House offers boutique pet friendly accomodation in the vibrant village of Sawtell.
Our home is a unique architecturally designed 70's beach house, which has been appointed in a relaxed coastal style, and is set in lush sub tropical gardens.

We are a relaxed and laid back pet and family friendly bed and breakfast , where your every need has been anticipated.
We only accept one booking for the property at any one time,(A Maximum group of 4 with pets) .
Our property is fully fenced and features a guest library, original open fire place (wood supplied), lounge and dining areas. Choose from indoor and outdoor dining options. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and BBQ.
We welcome your dog inside and they can relax as if they were at home.
Ambers is close to unspoilt beaches, great dog friendly cafes, restaurants & bars , an Art Deco Cinema, Bongil Bongil National Park & the multi award winning Bonville International Golf resort.
We are located just 1km from the main street of Sawtell, which is an easy walk or short drive.
Enjoy the local dog friendly beach, or the northern end of Sawtell beach can be visited with your dog on leash.
There are many cafe choices in our tree lined main avenue where you and your dog can kick back and take in all the North Coast has to offer.

Ambers Beach House has two suites:
Longboard - balinese beach style
Summercloud - modern coastal style

The suites are designed to be private, with separate entrances and decks, perfect for couples or a group of 4.

Rates are based on 2 adults sharing one suite, if your group requires both suites we charge an additional 120.00 per night for the second suite.

Our amenities include ensuite bathrooms, a bar fridge, quality glassware, Will & Co coffee, and tea supplies.
Enjoy complimentary Netflix access, gourmet breakfast basket, dog treats on arrival, egyptian cotton sheets and towels.

Relax and unwind on a beach holiday with your fur family, enjoying local cafes, shopping and movies in the Sawtell village and surrounding areas.

Great accommodation
Ambers was the perfect place to stay after playing golf at Bonville. Wayne and Mardi were great hosts and Ambers is immaculate. Highly recommend!

Great spot for all the family
We had a very relaxing few days here with our two children and dog. The property was in a great location close to beach and sawtell. We had everything we needed to have a truly relaxing stay and very much appreciated all the extra touches including a delicious breakfast. Thank you, we'll be back!

Satwell stay
The property was extremely well set up, with thoughtful touches. It was stylish, clean and also functional. The place had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions on where to sightsee, eat and take our dog for plays. So we’re very happy to go back and stay on our return trip.

Our family of 4 and precious pooch enjoyed our stay at Amber’s. Wayne and Mardi were so welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. They have created a haven for people and their pets alike. Beautiful decor, comfortable beds, clean and impeccably maintained. We spent a lot of our time in the outdoor living area. We enjoyed our time immensely and look forward to returning one day.

Ambers beach house was exactly as advertised. The home had everything need for a comfortable stay. This was a perfect stopover for my husband and I. Wayne greeted us and showed us around which was a lovely touch. Amber’s is pet friendly and both our cavoodles enjoyed the yard to run around even while it was raining. A continental breakfast was provided which was delicious, a yummy loaf, berries, homemade muesli, honey and yoghurt. The home was beautifully presented, very clean with a comfortable bed. I would highly recommend, Mardi and Wayne’s place to stay snd explore the area.

The owners have really created at amazing stay with how they have set this place up. It's highly pet secure and well designed. Beautiful location and the facilities of the bnb are top notch. I was blown away by the hospitality of the owners in what they provided for my dog and I. This is the gold standard of a pet friendly bnb.

A stunning oasis
We had the most delightful time at Ambers. Wayne, the host, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The place itself is stunning - from the fully fenced garden ideal for dogs - to the beautiful bathrooms and outdoor, undercover area. They have thought of everything. The extra touches of delicious food for us and the pooches were special. And all within minutes of the gorgeous town. We loved it!

I booked Ambers beach house last minute for a spontaneous trip with very few K9 friendly options remaining. Now, I can’t wait to return for a longer visit. Ambers is beautifully decorated and is both cozy and luxurious. We were provided with a lovely breakfast and THAT BATHTUB. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Ambers. A delicious meal at a local restaurant (recommended by Wayne) followed by a cosy night in front of a roaring fire and a luxurious hot bath.....perfect for a winter's night. Delicious breakfast fare and other goodies provide by our hosts were added touches that were much appreciated. Thank you to Wayne and Mardi for a fabulous stay at Ambers.

Great place to stay in Sawtell!
Mardi and Wayne were welcoming hosts and their property was beautifully presented and spotless, but with lots of personal touches. They had thought of everything! Our room was very comfortable (including the bed), had a large modern bathroom and included some thoughtful local breakfast items in the fridge. There is also a large separate sitting area with a great selection of books and open fire, as well as an outdoor kitchen/ eating area. Sawtell is a great little town - not too far to walk but an easy drive with off street parking provided. Would return!

We had the best stay for 4 days at Wayne & Mardi's BnB. They were excellent hosts and Wayne gave us great info about the area and wonderful restaurants close by. We especially enjoyed their home made muesli, macadamia fruit bread as well as banana bread! Studio was spotless, bed and linen very comfortable and bathroom amazing. We definitely hope to return one day.

A gem in Sawtell
We visited Coffs for the Dance Eistedfed and enjoyed a delightful stay at Ambers Beach House. Loved the fire in Winter and admiring the beautiful interior design. Easy to find, great parking, super close to the venue we danced at. A lovely relaxing stay with friendly hosts. Thank you.
