Charming cottage in excellent location
The cottage is charming with an old world character but with modern touches. It is comfortable and cosy and being within walking distance to the main street is an added bonus.

Great little cottage, excellent location
Great little cottage that has everything you want. Easy communication with the owners, lock box for ease of access on arrival and best of all fantastic location. All easy walking to the heart of town with some key restaurants, bars at the end of the street.

Great Location
Ideally located clean accommodation with lovely comfortable beds The kitchen lets it down and could be better equipped - a dishwasher would be a great addition. Overall though a nice place to stay for a couple of days.

Wonderful weekend at Courtyard Cottage
Courtyard cottage has everything you need for a perfect getaway. It would suit two couples or a small family. Breakfast provisions included croissants, cereals/muesli, milk and tea & coffee. The cottage was clean and tidy and a sweet little vase of flowers provided a cheery welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and it was lovely to meet him. The ensuite was gorgeous with its deep bathtub and dimmable lighting. (There's also a shower with terrific water pressure ;) ). In addition to the ensuite there is another toilet and shower room for the second bedroom. We loved the verandah and the treed front garden as well as the secluded rear courtyard with outdoor setting and bbq. The cottage is walking distance to the town and views of the hills are stunning from the streets. It does need some updating, which is on Chris's to do list, but really, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Healesville that gives you a full kitchen and laundry in addition to everything else, then I recommend Courtyard Cottage. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our holiday :) .

Cozy cottage
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cottage. Thanks also for the chardonnay for our anniversary. Good to be able to walk to the shops. Woodfire was great as it did get chilly of a night. House brings back memories of my grandparents house. House is cozy with everything that you need. We had a very relaxing time in your cottage. Just a couple of suggestions, chandeliers in all rooms need a good clean, windows need a clean and being asthmatic house needed a good dusting. Hopefully we will be back again one day as it is a cozy cottage Highly recommend your cottage

Very quaint.
The property was conveniently located in Healesville.. In the lead up to our visit the hosts were excellent about being in touch and there was a lovely bottle of bubbles waiting.

Not what we expected
The photos depicted a nice bright place to stay with nice furniture but the place was dull and dreary and not what we expected. It is basically false advertising. It may have looked like that but not now. We have stayed in numerous accomodation in Victoria and interstate and this is the first time we considered finding another place to stay. This was a Christmas present for my mother in law and we were devastated .We were expecting to stay in a rustic enviroment but there is a big difference between rustic and run down..As we opened the door we were overpowered by the stench of an old fire.Surely a good airing would be on a to do list before visiters arrived. Some of the cushions were dirty and a new dish cloth might have been nice.We had read reviews of a lovely ambience but were puzzled by the decor. On a lighter note the breakfast was a good gesture even though we didnt have it and the beds were comfortable.

Cosy, clean cottage with heaps of charm
We had a lovely stay at your cottage. It was beautifully clean and well catered. Breakfast provisions (yoghurt, cereals, milk, beverage makings) were great, but maybe more than 2 eggs for four adults might have been welcomed!

The cottage was just lovely.
A bigger shower would make it 5 stars. It was very clean and breakfast supplies were excellent. Wonderful location!

Cute and cosy
A lovely, well located, dog friendly property with the added bonus of a gorgeous huge bathtub and a fireplace, perfect for a winter's weekend getaway. Breakfast supplies provided- an enormous fruit platter, cereal, croissants, jam, eggs, milk and bread. We hope to be back soon!

A little Gem
Have just returned from spending the night of your daughter's wedding at this charming cottage. The cottage itself is a gem, you have everything you need to feel right at home, and the spread for your breakfast so yummy and plentiful. Its location is so close to all attractions and the shops, and so grateful to the owner Maureen being flexible with our check in time. Certainly the place to stay when in the Yarra Valley area.

Loved it.
I can't wait to come back. The details, like tealight candles, and juice, milk and fruit the fridge, a fire ready to light....total heaven. Booked the place for the bathtub and was not disappointed. I'll be back.

Great location
We recently spent a night here and the additional touches such as a generous fruit platter, chocolate croissants, juice, eggs, bread etc etc were unexpected but very much appreciated. Huge claw bath in main bedroom and very close and only a short walking distance to Giant Steps restaurant, Beechworth Bakery and other shops. Pet friendly accommodation but only drawback was no enclosed yard which I believe the new owners are intending to add. I would happily return again when this is complete. We had a lovely time and would recommend to friends. Thanks Maureen!
