Moonee Habitat BnB is a great place for an overnight stay or a short break away. Designed for couples only and not suitable for children the purpose built room has a queen size bed, ensuite and a mini kitchenette that doubles as a workspace.
Homemade treats, sparkling water and a healthy nutritious breakfast are all provided in the room for you to enjoy at your leisure. On request and for an additional fee, cheese and wine platters are available.
The outdoor space in the breezeway has a table and chairs for out of room dinning or just relaxing and listening to the birds in the adjacent bush.
Take a stroll to the beautiful Moonee Estuary and beyond with numerous walks to enjoy. There are picnic tables and BBQ's at the reserve. This is a popular place to chill by the waters edge and spectacular place to have dinner on full moon.
Conveniently located just a minute off the A1 highway at the end of a quiet street surrounded by bush you couldn't find a more peacefully relaxing place to stay.
Moonee Shopping Centre is only a 5 minute walk, with plenty of dinning options, Coles supermarket, health food shop and all the other amenities you may require. Situated adjacent to the shopping centre is the very popular Moonee Tavern and bottle shop.
The Coffs Coast is truly a unique area - where the "Mountains meet the Sea". There is so much to explore, so if you do decide to stay for a couple of days we can give you some great tips on things to do.
Interaction with your hosts is entirely up to you. If we end up sitting and chatting for a bit, that would be lovely but if solitude is what you're after we respect that too. Knowing that we're always available if you need anything. Our aim is to make your Moonee Beach experience a pleasurable one.

Just a few minutes walk is Moonee Beach reserve and estuary with endless water activities to be enjoyed. On high tide you can kayak/canoe or paddle board up the estuary to either fish or explore the wonders of the waterway. Swimming against the tide in the estuary is also a popular form of exercise for many locals. As is an early morning surf at the beach. Alternatively you could go for a walk to the headland in search of whales and dolphins or further beyond along the beautiful beaches to the north and south. This is part of the great Solitary Island Coastal Walk from Sawtell to Arrawarra (60km).There are BBQ’s and a picnic area right on the estuary for you to take full advantage of.
Moonee Beach shopping centre is just 5 minute walk with all the amenities you would need, including 3 dining options. In the same complex is a 24/7 gym and indoor swimming pool. Across the car park is the Moonee tavern and bottle shop.
Moonee Habitat BnB is located just off the A1 highway 7 minutes north of Coffs Harbour. Buses run daily to Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga, there is also a local taxi service. Pick up from the airport can be arranged.
If you're a cyclist there are cycle lanes both on the highway and local roads to the north and south of Moonee Beach. As well as many great rides into the hinterland on the western side of the highway.
