Be the first one on the lift on that powder day morning, sleep in and still make it on the lifts before all those poor city folk that drove up for the day, take a break and go back to your unit for lunch, or hit up the bars and restaurants in the base area at the end of your ski day knowing you only have to walk across the street when it's time to go home, these are only some of the advantages to staying on-mountain for your next ski vacation.

Dated but good location
We were happy with the location of the property. Both bathrooms were good sizes, and the kitchen size was doable. The underground parking was awesome. However, the size of the bunk bed room was incredibly small. The room held ONLY the beds, nothing more. So, I felt the photos did not tell the true story of the room. We had two of us in the master bedroom and 2 teens in the bunk room. All of our gear and luggage had to be kept in the living room, as there was no other room to store it unless we put it on the deck. It was very, very crowded. The carpet is either stained, or filthy or both. The master bed bedspread was tearing all over and looked like it was 20 years old. It was falling apart so much that I refused to sit on it. The overall condo needs some TLC. Also, the elevators were sketchy, and broke down at one point.

Good location but dark and dreary unit
The unit is in desperate need of better lighting. There was not enough light to read or easily play cards. The unit is in a good location to the slopes but felt worn and in need of some fresh updates. Not an ideal unit for 4 adults. Much better suited for 2 adults and 2 kids. Note: Ski locker is convenient but does not have capacity for 4 adult skis.

Not what it was cracked up to be.....
Multiple things didn't work or were broken. Called the Property Management company and they said someone would call before coming the next morning. No one ever called, instead someone came into the condo while we were gone late in the afternoon. Some things were fixed, some broken items were removed from the condo but not replaced, such as a box fan. Thermostat didn't work correctly, so the box fan would've been helpful. The tv in the kids/ bunk bedroom was a joke with no remote and only 3 channels. Getting keys from Bighorn Rentals is a pain in the butt because its a 15 minute drive from the condo. When we returned the keys, Bighorn Rentals wouldn't even allow my Mother to use their restroom. My family rented 3 different condos in this building at the same time. All of us had different rental companies. I'm the only one who had to drive to pick up and return keys etc. I do not recommend renting from Bighorn Rentals. Completely inconvenient and overall disappointing.

Nice condo, dirty patio
Overall, the condo was as advertised. The only negative experience was how dirty the patio and patio furniture were. Dirt, dust, soot, and spilled liquids on the ground and furniture.

Great location. Good value.
Comfortable condo in great location. Only problem is very poor lighting. Bring headlamps for everyone (no joke!). Otherwise very nice.

Great condo near center village
Great little condo near center village. The pictures show a leather couch, which is actually a fabric couch but looks to be relatively new and is very comfortable, so no qualms there. Right near center village and the unit is a bus stop for the copper loop busses, so very convenient. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Christmas Skiing
This property is in a great location. A very easy walk to the slopes and restaurants. It made it easy to pop in for lunch. The unit is small, but sufficient with the small bunk closet for 4 people for a short period of time. The furniture is a bit worn (tables scratched and banged up) but in good condition. There was no extra bedding, sheets or blankets, pillows. The kitchen was equipped fairly but I could not find a simple cookie sheet to make cinnamon rolls on. Overall, I would likely stay there again because of location, but feel a little more attention could be given to details for the rates being charged.

Great Location
Located just over the covered bridge and an easy walk to lifts. Property manager was very helpful and friendly. It was just me for a couple days so way more room than I needed but the bunk beds were a nice addition if you had extra people. Would rent this unit again. Thanks Bighorn Rentals!

Great Location but the condo needs some TLC!!
First off, please understand that Passage Point is one of the best locations in Center Village. My wife and I have stayed in various units for many years and will do so again in the future. The complaints I have were addressed by the Management company in a timely manner but they were not able to correct all of my concerns. Its my opinion that this unit needs some attention. The furniture is not as depicted in the VRBO Ad. The AD shows a leather couch, a leather chair, and one additional living room chair. In reality, no leather furniture exists in the unit. The couch and chair that are actually located in the unit were comfortable, but I felt it was misleading and a downgrade. Also, one of the living room chairs had a loose seat back that was only secured on one side. Continued use would've resulted in the other side completely breaking away rendering the chair useless. They attempted to secure the seatback with a wooden dowel but that too broke off. I eventually placed a metal screw that the repair man had left behind through the frame into the seat back to make it secure as is designed. One dining room chair had a broken leg and was stored in the bedroom closet.. Another dining chair was very wobbly and in my opinion would eventually fail. The Management Company brought two folding metal chairs. Once again, a downgrade. The gas fireplace did not function properly. The timer switch was broken and the only way to get the fire lit was to remove the front floor panel and push the on/off switch to light the gas logs. They looked at the timer switch but it wasn't repaired during our stay. Another downgrade. We also discovered that the humidifiers in the unit were clogged up with hard water deposits that wouldn't allow them to function properly. I cleaned them out as best I could to make them work as designed. Its a small item but in my opinion indicative of the lack of attention associated with this unit.. Thanks.....

Great for a Family
This is advertised as a one bedroom but functions as a two bedroom. The den has bunk beds with a sliding door, which is great for separation. Great view of center village, awesome hot tubs, and clean condo. We would stay here again.

Great stay right at the ski resort
We loved the location of this condo. It's a short walk to the American Eagle and American Flyer lifts and close to everything at the resort. From the time we got here, there was no reason to drive anywhere. Super Convenient!

Passage Passes the Test
Great place in Copper. Large for a one BR unit. The unit also has a clever carve-out space for two bunk beds with a TV - perfect for two tweens or under. Nice updated kitchen. The bed was king size and comfy. Two bathrooms with ample space. Large living room with large flat screen TV. Fireplace. And for warmer weather rentals, the patio is outstanding - decent size compared to most, a grill, dining table, and a nice view. Good location too; easy walk to the heart of Copper and restaurants, shops, etc. Owner was good to deal with too.

Great stay
Apartment was clean, well furnished- kitchen had all utensils needed (except pizza cutter and hot pads) but we made due. Great to have a parking spot under the building. Beds slept well, showers were hot. Great place!

If you are looking for a spot so close to the lifts, this was great! The location was perfect! We had a family of 5 (3 children) The den was adorable and spacious for my 2 older kids! The condo was nice but the dishwasher was broken and we had to go buy a few utensils for the kitchen. All in all, I would rent this again!

Excellent location!
This apartment is in an excellent location, short walk to lifts and great restaurants and everything in central village. Apartment is somewhat dated (hence the 4 not 5 stars) but clean and well equiped. This building is great: Some of the condos in Copper are really old buildings but this one is very well maintained and on the newer side. Heads up that you need to pick up and drop keys in Frisco (other town) but that was not an issue for us, they were very nice and flexible. I would just suggest placing a high alternative lock on the main door (if that is allowed by fire code) as our toddler escaped to the lift hall as the door cannot be child proofed locked from inside) Any simple thing that a child cannot reach would work. We will definetely be back!

Copper ski week
Big Horn Rental was very easy to work with from the get-go. They were responsive with my questions. It may have been my oversight, but I did not recall reading anywhere on the listing that we would have to pick up keys in Frisco. Though not far, it's a huge hassle at night, especially with two tired kids. I guess we've been lucky in never having to pick up keys away from where the property is located. Just thought I'd share with anyone who, like me, may not read the full disclosure. The location of this condo is absolutely wonderful. It's not quite ski in ski out, but it certainly is an easy jaunt to the American Eagle and American Flyer. We did not venture to other villages, but the shuttle was right outside the building, making it a piece of cake. The underground parking was definitely a bonus, but good luck parking large SUVs. The hot tubs were clean and hot, and with three of them easily reachable, there was not an issue with overcrowding. The unit itself is certainly dated, but overall clean. There were no "ewww" moments, which is a huge plus. The fireplace was nice and we used it at night to dry our soggy gloves. The main bedroom had a comfy bed, and the bunk beds in the "closet" were only a bit squeaky. The one personal dislike we had was just that the pillows were teeny and very uncomfortable. They did provide one memory foam pillow, which was a tad better, but with the four of us, the pillows made for a tough time sleeping the first few nights until we got adjusted. If you can, bring your own pillows. There were only also comforters in the main bedroom, so the kids would get a bit chilly at night in the bunk beds. The lighting was also fairly dim, so reading a book may be tough in the living room. The bathrooms were spacious and the showers had generous water pressure, though again the lighting was dim in our opinion. We did not make use of the TVs, but they were available, as was a DVD player. The kitchen had sufficient settings for our family of four, and there was, surprisingly, canola oil, sugar, salt and pepper supplied. The pots and pans were old and scraped, but given we didn't cook much, it wasn't a big deal. Pros- location, location, location. Reasonable pricing. Comfy beds (except pillows) Cons- Dim lighting, could use new cookware and some extra comforters.
