Friends forever catch up
Adam was super friendly, helpful and communication was first class. Very clean large house with two sitting areas if you need to be alone. We played billiards which was lots of fun. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms were lovely. Great location to just unwind and enjoy the views. Adam gave us a private wine tasting which was informative and he had great stories. Wine was superb. Thank you Adam for making our stay a most enjoyable experience

Wine, music and beautiful views!
Adam’s house was the perfect location for our group of friends to enjoy a picturesque weekend away. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting experience at Adam’s Leap cellar door (topped off with a beautiful performance on the grand piano!), and Adam was a very thoughtful and helpful host. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay!

groom's wedding party
We stayed at Adam's Leap Winery as part of the groom's wedding party, and it was the perfect choice! The location is stunning—ideal for capturing beautiful wedding photos with breathtaking vineyard views. The space was excellent for our group, with plenty of room to get ready comfortably. The pool table was a fantastic addition, keeping us entertained and easing some pre-wedding nerves. The spacious kitchen was just right for preparing breakfast on the big day. Adam, the owner, was incredibly friendly and made our cellar door experience unforgettable with his passion and enthusiasm. Highly recommended for a memorable stay

The property is very well located for Hunter Valley excursions. It exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The host, Adam, is very hospitable and very personable. One of the highlights of our stay was the wine tasting that Adam facilitated for our family. You won't be disappointed, this is a luxurious property!

Highly recommend- Fantastic Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ghost Riders Lodge. Adam was a fantastic host and the house was amazing. We had a group of 9 and everyone was impressed with the home and amenities on offer. The privacy and tranquility amongst the vineyard was lovely and we saw some beautiful wildlife whilst sitting outside. It was close to all our planned activities and perfect for the private chef we hired. Thank you Adam for allowing us to stay. It was a weekend enjoyed by all.

Perfect weekend with the family over Easter
Ghost Riders Lodge is a beautiful house surrounded by Adams vineyards. Spacious, clean & accommodating. Everything you need is provided for (aside from food) plus the location is ideal. Special mention of our Paint, Sip & Play experience with Adams partner Sharon. Having had Adams Leap Wines tasting in conjunction with this experience, a fun afternoon was had by all (* in addition to 2 bottles of his Chardonnay later - lol) As with other reviews: All 6 of us would - "Highly recommend" this property

A Hunter Valley Long Weekend!
The whole experience staying at Ghost Riders could not be faulted. Our host Adam was always responsive to our queries which made the stay really easy. We were a group of 8 Adults - everyone having their own bathroom is a major bonus! The property location is excellent and staying on the vines is such a beautiful experience. To wake up in the morning with the wildlife around you is so very special. I would recommend Ghost Riders to anyone travelling in a group. Just so pleasant. Thanks Adam - I am sure we will be back........

Wonderful Ghost Riders
Adam was a brilliant host who was considerate, generous and extremely helpful. The residence was clean, modern and spacious. Adam’s Leap wines were of a high quality. Adam provided a private tasting for our group of 6 which was well received. The location was great being close to many wineries, some within walking distance. With 160 vineyards in the area, we will be back to Ghost Riders to stay. Thanks again Adam.

Amazing Breakaway Destination
This is our second visit to Ghost Riders Lodge. It truly is an amazing property. The house itself is large, very spacious and very well equipped. But it goes beyond the house! Nestled amongst vineyards, you get a true immersive country experience with great views. It's a great location from which to explore the Hunter Valley. In this instance we had a family wedding in The Hunter and this home is an ideal base for families and friends attending a wedding in the area. And lastly, Adam is a fantastic host whose communication is exceptional! Enjoy your stay!

Cannot fault this property
Our group of 8 were spoiled with the luxurious and beautifully appointed house located in Adam's Leap Vineyards. Most of all, each couple had their own ensuite/bathroom, which was very important for us. Especially memorable, was the wine tasting at the Cellar Door at the end of our driveway. Some of the best wines we tasted on our weekend in the Hunter, plus the beautiful stories weaved between each wine. We also had a personal emergency at the end of our stay and Adam was very accommodating with some additional help for some of us, which went way beyond what any host would do. Without a doubt, we will come to stay again.

A beautiful stay in the heart of the Hunter Valley
A fantastic, well equipped, modern house with stunning grounds, in the heart of a working vineyard. We had a fantastic weekend here, Adam was a great host (the complimentary private tasting session when we first arrive on Friday evening was a lovely way to start our stay) and we loved waking up to stunning views and having our breakfast outside surrounded by the vines with the occasional roo hopping past. Would definitely stay here again!

About the host

Hosted by Adam Kossak

Host profile image
Hi. I'm Adam and I am the owner and manager of Ghost Riders Lodge at Adam’s Leap Wines.

Adam's Leap Wines is the realisation of a long-time dream. My journey, however, was not necessarily a direct or predictable route. It started in America as an in-house lawyer for a large global software company, followed on with a migration to Australia and a continuing career in the software industry, a return to study in medical school and then to clinical practice as a doctor. After several years, I returned to the software industry, which eventually lead me to roles as a board director.

But throughout my entire journey there was always wine! It began with a detour on a motorcycle ride in South Carolina, then explorations of vineyards in France, Italy, Spain, California and Australia, and eventually a dream of bringing Adam’s Leap Wines to life.

Through the vineyard I am able to make great wines and through Ghost Rider's Lodge and private wine tastings at the Adam's Leap Wines cellar door I am able to provide people with great experiences; both of which are the essence of Adam's Leap Wines.

I hope that you will share this dream with me by choosing to stay at Ghost Riders Lodge at Adam's Leap Wines, by joining me for a complementary private wine tasting at the cellar door and by enjoying some of Adam's Leap Wines with your friends and family.
