This property is perfect for a short beach stay. The proximity to the beach and shops and the "feel" of both the apartment itself and the friendliness of the other people in the block is wonderful. Only hesitation in recommending is that other people might book it out so I cannot book it myself.

It is a small two bedroom unit overlooking the beach. Great location, building is old and access is up five flights of stairs. Rooms are small but kitchen lounge is spacious. Forget the car parking as the garage is too small for any modern car except a mini or a motorbike. Street parking only.

Location, Location, Location
This property is amazing, the location is better than I expected. I read reviews saying that everything is close however Woolworths is just across the road, cafes, bookshops, dress shops etc, just across the road. Not to mention the surf beach which is on your door step. Sitting inside the apartment or on the balcony looking out at the waves. Listening to the sound of the waves breaking at night. It really is the perfect location. The host is amazing emailed me before with places to eat, walks to go on. All the suggestions were amazing. Loved the Sunday arvo live music at the Bowlo especially. What really stood out with this property is the eye for details. Beautifully renovated, great floors, good spaces, great new kitchen BUT the small things. Enough toilet paper for our stay, condiments in the cupboard, a small weber BBQ we could use on the balcony (which we used heaps especially for bacon breakfasts and lunches) which really helped to keep the cost of the holiday down. Beach towels and bath towels are of great quality and even a couple of small chairs we could use at the beach. Would highly recommend this property. A home away from home.

Perfect location for a beach side getaway
The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful sunny balcony and living room which overlook the beach, and steps away from all that Avalon village has to offer. You could not get a better location and view. The owners were friendly and accommodating and offered lots of suggestions for our stay. We'd come back again.
