About this property

The Drop In Beach Haus is located between two of Tasmania's most iconic surf spots Dark Hollow and Shelley Point. It is also close to the many mountain bike trails in the area and with world class game-fishing and wineries within your grasp you'll never be short of things to enjoy.

This modern beach house with industrial features boasts three bedrooms 2 with queen beds and 1 with a double bed. Ensuite to the main bedroom boasts a double shower and main bathroom has a freestanding bath to relax in. There is a large open plan living area with ocean views. Two large decks, to take advantage of the morning and afternoon sun and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. All these features plus many more make the Drop In Beach Haus the best place to spend your next holiday.

The kids will enjoy swimming at the beach or paddling in the lagoon at the end of the street. The house is also a short stroll from a Tennis and Basketball court as well as a cricket pitch and kids playground.

Great place to stay close to the beach

Relaxed week away

We really needed a break away, just the family and our dog. This was the first time going on holidays with our fur child, it was a great success. There were four of us including two kids. The yard was well fenced with heaps of room for the kids (and dog) to run around. The property had some lovely touches like the hot outdoor shower on the entry deck to wash off after being at the beach and a fishing rod holder out the back. The open plan living had everything we needed, comfy couch, big TV and a decent size dining table for lego building. The kitchen was adequate and easy to navigate. The front deck was a joy of an afternoon and morning to look out to the water just down the road. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable, probably the best we've stayed in for a long time. Although not the coldest time of year, the space warmed up nicely during the day meanign we didn't need heating at night. At the bottom of the street there is a great little local hangout serving burgers and beer, very kid friendly with fast service. All round we really had a lovely time, just 5 minutes or so to Scamander and about 10-15 to St Helens makes this a quiet spot but also very close to other ammenities

this 3 bedroom house is a great get away. good size, large area to park several cars or even boats. only 10 min from St helens and 5 min to Scamander. 2 bathrooms so easy for 3 couples. great deck out front for sunny mornings

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house, it had everything we needed. You can hear the ocean from the balcony and watch the sunrise if the comfy beds don't entice you to sleep in!

Mesmerising views and calmness

Awesome location to just sit back and watch the waves and relax. You find yourself not watching the tv and eyes wondering and watching the waves roll in , and boats trying to catch a feed of fish ,it's just the place to forget about the hustle and bustle of day to day doings.

Wonderful house fab location

This was our 2nd time staying here. The house is clean and well set up… a very short stroll down to a stunning beach and a fab kid friend eatery and bar on the way to the beach great for those night you dont want to cook.

Excellent Property for relaxing holiday with our friends and dog Rosie.

Property open plan living area and three large bedrooms fits well wit our requirements and is close to beach access for long walks with our pooch. Great stay thanks to the hosts.

Such a beautiful place. The photos really don’t do it justice. Beautiful style and very spacious. The beach is only a short walk away and most of the time we had the whole beach to ourselves. Would love to go back again one day

Even better in person

Our stay at the home although short, was just the holiday we needed. Fantastic location, with lovely views of the beach. The home is extremely modern. We payed the extra fee and stayed with pets and the home is perfect for your well behaved fur-family members. Can’t thank the host enough for providing such a wonderful place to stay and unwind. We will be back!
