best beach villa: on the foreshore

On the forshore on knight terrace opposite the jetty, with amazing views of the harbour and bay. Set yourself down on the balcony and watch the boats come in. 100 mtrs from the boat ramp, fishing jetty, playground, shops and resturants. Upstairs 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. 1 queen 1 bunk. Downstairs bedroom is a disconnected room from top storey, 1 double 1 bunk and bathroom, Sleeps 8 people. Fully equipped kitchen, lcd tv with local and foxtel, free wifi, split system air con, washing machine and on site parking.

Slight mis-representation
Location was great and the view from upstairs balcony was great.However, On arrival we found the downstairs was a closed in garage converted to a bedroom with a bathroom. A small window high on the wall. You needed to go outside, down the stairs and use a key to get in. Hardly suitable if travelling with kids.Property was dated with holes in walls and ceiling where fixtures had been pulled out. The doona downstairs smelled like it hadn’t been washed in a while.There were no tea towels in the kitchen and no condiments. I would expect at least salt and pepper. Champagne flutes but no wine glasses.The driveway was long and extremely narrow. I would not have attempted it in the dark.A nice place but a bit overpriced considering the condition and what is supplied.Also, there was evidence of entry to the property while we were out one day. Not ideal!

The best location in Denham
Pros Views, location and cleanliness were spot on. Instant hot showers was lovely too. Cons If you are bringing a large car or boat this place isn’t for you unfortunately. Extremely narrow driveway which means you have to leave your car and boat down by the road. Taking our fishing gear, esky etc to and fro daily was exhausting. Really think this should be mentioned in the notes about the house access. Needed some spray and wipe to clean kitchen through out the stay and enough toilet paper for our stay and please note there’s no BBQ. Take extra blankets in winter, we did just incase and so lucky we did we were freezing with what was provided. Could of used the heater all night I suppose but we didn’t want to as it’s so expensive. Warmer quilts would had as be done the job.

Great beach shack
Awesome beach shack at Denham right across from the water. Awesome views from the balcony for breakfast and evening drinks. Walking distance to beach strip. Washing machine not working. Lovely place would stay again.

Ideal location walking distance to everything.
When we pulled up we realised why there was no photo of the outside of the property on the internet because from the outside the two-storey building looks rundown but once we were inside, it was very clean and nicely renovated with everything we needed so a lot better than it first appeared from the outside. However, a bit disappointing to find that the second bedroom is underneath the building and can only be accessed from the outside, with no internal stairs. However, the location is perfect with lovely views over the water from the balcony and it's very central to everything. The house is at the back of the property and up a long narrow drive so we had to park the Kluger at the bottom of the drive because it would have been impossible to turn around and drive out again.

Rustic Beach Haven
The location of this property is superb. Comfortable beds, Foxtel and plenty of space create a beachside hideaway. Perfectly matched to the casual Denham lifestyle, this is a unique gem.

Good place to stay
It was good once we found the place and had the door unlocked! Minor criticism is lack of place to hang clothes. Good location, nice outlook, spacious living area and veranda.

The driveway on this property ex Extremely difficult, you only want to reverse out once a day. The view from the top balcony is very beautiful and the top bedroom accommodation is comfortable.

The property had a perfect location opposite the beach with great views and sunsets amazing. We were very comfortable. To have a washing machine was excellent but cloths line needs upgrading!! :) We had a very relaxing holiday and walked to the pub ( the old one) and the Old pearler rest. was wonderful too.

Perfect or us small family
Its really the best and most mordern place in sharks bay. Best view best location big open floorplan. Its a one bedroom house.but 2nd bedroom is outside down stairs. So keep that inmind of 2bedrooms is a must required.It wasnt required for us so 5stars from us. Hope we can come.back.an stay again next year.

Great 2 storey spot on near jetty. Clean rooms, Foxtel, great kitchen, balcony, comfy beds. Only 2 of us so couldn't tell you what downstairs was like but up top was all we needed. Fully recommended accomadatiom in Denham. Great little town and people. Will stay again
