Brand new build for 2017, Bailey's Encounter Bay is a 2 storey home with 4 bedrooms. WiFi, 60" LED TV Smart TV and Blu Ray, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, BBQ, balcony with awesome sea views. There is a open plan lounge upstairs and a spacious rumpus downstairs with another large HD TV. Reverse cycle split system air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs.

Dog friendly inside and out, with a fully fenced large rear yard

Fresh linen is provided free of charge

Steeped in history, Encounter Bay was named by Matthew Flinders after his encounter with Nicolas Baudin, both of whom were charting the Australian coastline for their respective countries Britain and France. The encounter between the scientists was peaceful, even though their countries were at war at the time .

Visit The South Coast's pubs and restaurants or sit back on the balcony and relax with a local beer or wine or two. Just one hour from Adelaide, Encounter Bay will make you feel so relaxed you could be a million miles away

Beautiful location and views

A lovely quiet area with short walk to the beach and a very short drive to the bluff and restaurants. Lovely views and well appointed accommodation made this a comfortable stay for all, including the pooches.

Cannot Fault Anything!

Beautifully clean, large, dog friendly house. Lovely views. Plenty of room for everyone. We very much appreciated the clean feel of the place and all the human and doggie treats. Everything has been thought of. Only 6 mins to Victor Harbor Central too! Beds comfy and bedding clean and lovely. No mad rules about what we can and cannot do. Our two doggies loved it! We will be back. Thank you :).

Overall the house was lovely. Very well presented. My only disappointment is that the outside bin was filled to overflowing so we couldn’t put our rubbish in it, and had to leave our rubbish in the inside bins. Also there was a broken glass front and centre when I opened the cupboard.

Great Dog Friendly Property

Loved our stay. So nice to be able to have our dogs inside as they don't sleep outside at home. Great views from the property too. Great facilities. Only thing missing are some easy chairs to relax on the balcony instead of the bench seating around the outdoor table. The layout has the main bedroom with ensuite on the top floor with lounge, kitchen and dining room (and extra loo) and the remaining 3 bedrooms on the ground floor. Our dogs loved being able to get out on the balcony and have a good sticky beak around. Had lovely meals at both Hotel Elliot and Whalers, so highly recommend both. Would love to come back again in better weather as the weekend we were there there were huge storms and teeming rain. All still good to watch from the top floor as the windows go right across the front of the house, brilliant!

Lovely beach view house

We thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay. Great views and location. Clean tidy dog friendly property. Would definitely visit again in the near future. Had a nice feel to it. Maybe next time will try visit in the warmer weather ;)

Weekend getaway to Encountet Bay

We all enjoyed our stay. Had a bit of trouble getting the key from its box initially and door latches a bit hard to open but we got by. A really lovely house with lovely views.

Summer holidays

Perfect location and accommodation catered for a large family and our elderly dog. Great bike trails, snorkelling, fishing and body boarding. Granite Island and camel rides for the kids made for a perfect summer holiday. Communication with the manager was very easy and we can’t wait to visit again.

What a fantastic house! Super-comfortable beds, everything we needed was provided, and the view was amazing. The only downside was that the backyard had a heap of clover prickles and our dogs have longer coats and picked them all up. Other than that, it was the perfect stay. I would highly recommend it.

All you ever need !

Location and views excellent. Beds and pillows oh so comfortable. Decor very attractive. So so well equipped all throughout. Easy to keep tidy, clean and our dogs loved the back yard and looking out the front windows. High quality hand wash, bubbles in the fridge on arrival and still there ! We loved this place, the best we have ever stayed in. Thank you to Ian and Stayz.

Perfect for a family get together

As a family of adults living separate lives, and with a fur baby in tow, we wanted to have a family weekend get together in a property that suited all our needs - able to accommodate pets and people, in a nice location, with good cooking facilities and internet access. Bailey's Dog Holidays was the perfect choice - the kitchen was really well equipped, the internet services were great (once we had worked out ChromeCast!), the dog was allowed inside and yet the place was incredibly clean and, with 3 queen beds and a great lay out for living areas and bathrooms, we all had our personal and social needs met. Thanks so much Ian - it was fabulous, and we would love to come back for longer!
