Comfortable family home with pool in great location close to river and parks.
Recently renovated with new kitchen and bathrooms.
Three bedrooms; queen downstairs with ensuite bathroom, queen and king upstairs with shared bathroom and downstairs cloakroom with shower.
Across the road from a beautiful park with exercise facilities, short 350 metre stroll to the Swan River with its beautiful vistas and riverside walks, together with various other nearby parks and playgrounds.
Claremont Quarter, about 1km away, provides extensive shopping and restaurant options.
Transport close by with short walk, either 250 metres or 330 metres, to bus stops and Claremont station less than 1km walking distance.
Buses to City, 7kms away, and the renowned Cottesloe beach, 3kms away.
There are extensive bikeways in the area, particularly along the river, and bikes are available with advance notice.
Parking for two cars and ample additional parking across the road.
Longer term rates are available subject to negotiation with the owner.

Home away from home

During covid 19 I had to ship my family over from NSW for work and we stay here in Claremont up to 6 months the owners of the property were very warm and welcoming and the location was safe for me and my family

Five day rest

We loved the location of this house. Close to the sea and the city and a beautiful, peaceful established suburb. The house was well equipped ,lovely bathrooms ,big towels,,comfortable beds and the bonus of a swimming pool. Greeted by the owner so felt immediately at home.

Perfect for our family

The perfect location for our Perth family visit. The pool was a godsend and the park across the road, the river walks and close proximity to shops etc was excellent. Communication was quick and thoughtful. Extra towels bedding and small kitchen items as well as fully functional aspects made all the difference. A home away from home where we wanted for nothing.

Great family stay

This accomodation was very comfortable and we loved all the storage. The pool was enjoyable over the hot days and the position was so convenient. Will definitely book this again if we need accomodation in this area of Perth

Fabulous home away from home.

Perfect location close to our family. The home is well equipped and extremely comfortable with everything you need. Beds were great, showers and bath brilliant water pressure. Enjoyed a barbecue with family. Ideal to accommodate a medium family with good space. Lovely peaceful neighbourhood with a lot of green space. Easy to find and handy to main highway. I would definitely stay again.

You HAVE to stay here

Gill and Mark have offered such a fabulous property for a family, group of friends, even just a couple, and importantly, particularly if you want to bring your beloved dogs. There was not one thing we thought we could suggest any improvement on for Melvista on the Park. The location is fantastic with the park at the end of the driveway for a morning doggy walk, or your own walk, and the river foreshore just one block away. Parking is plentiful, the property is fully gated for pets and children and the area is peaceful, with easy access to the city, Fremantle, beaches, shops, or whatever you need to do in Perth. The home itself, and it genuinely feels like a home, is very spacious, so comfortable, and extremely well equipped. We really appreciated the thought that has gone in to presenting Melvista, and in less than 24 hours, we felt right at home, as did our extended family and friends who were well able to visit and and not squeeze into a hotel room. We spent Father's Day weekend in Perth to join our adult children and relatives and had a sensational BBQ brunch, albeit the rain descended, as the BBQ was undercover and there was plenty of indoor space to seat everyone to eat. Gill and Mark provided great communication and welcomed us personally to familiarise us with the house. We absolutely will be back to stay at Melvista whenever we get the chance. The pool will definitely draw us back in summer. Thank you both, Gill and Mark, for making Melvista such a special accommodation.

Peace in Perth

Fantastic Area
