I celebrated my 40th birthday In this house and what an experience. The house is stunning, the furniture is beautiful and placement is well thought out, we also loved the fact that every bedroom has its own ensuite.A highlight to our weekend was having our own private Jetty to relax on the waterfront.
This house was fenominal was so big and spacious. The owners are super friendly. We did notice alot of the lights didnt work and had a small issue with the power at the end of our staff but that wasn't a big problem. We also found a pair of underwear in the theatre from previous occupants that they had missed while cleaning. The owners are super helpful and come out when you need them for anything. Over all this house is worth every cent we paid and my family didnt want to leave.
It was pretty Cool watching My Wife & Adult Kids Running around the property trying to work out which room they where having and exploring the home in general. We made good use of the Movie Room and the Kitchen as we where all keen to stay in home and enjoy all that Living Waters had to offer.
Living Waters was a memorable experience for our family who celebrated a 70th birthday. The house was beautifully maintained and facilities could not be faulted. The views from most rooms were stunning. We would stay there again and it comes highly recommended for an occasion requiring 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Assistance and instructions provided by the Manager and Owner were also very informative. Great Work guys.
We had a lovely weekend at living waters.
Great house to fit everyone in 😊
All couples were able to have their own room & ensuite.
Just needed a music source and possibly the scullery as it was difficult to do dishes in the small sink in the kitchen.
For a team of Athletes this was the perfect place to relax and recover between races. Plenty of space to have time away from the group or join in with movies in the cinema room or pool table. Everyone came together for dinner on the 14 seater table. Would definitely stay again!
On booking I was impressed by ability to sleep 6 couples in 6 rooms with separate ensuites. Booked for our sons wedding and looked froward to hassle free stay, use of butlers kitchen, walk in dressing room from master suite and daily use of the Spa.
However from the moment we arrived there was nothing but issues. The front gate broke down and did not work. Butler's kitchen and master walk in robe were locked (as was linen and study, not required) So we had a small free standing clothes rack and a tiny kitchen sink to cater to washing up pot and pans etc for 9-14 people. First night one bathroom flooded from a blocked pipe thanks to a tree root. Second day the power shorted out due to a faulty toaster. The spa never worked properly for the duration as it has a habit of overheating to 46C+ and although we followed instructions given we spent more time maintaining it and never got to use it. Maureen and Jimmy were quickly on to all of these issues and organised trades as required along with a new toaster and pool noodles to keep the temp of the spa down..
While some of these issues were unforeseeable I am a little disgruntled that I paid premium rates for things that were advertised but not available and that I spent too much time maintaining the spa without use.
Sadly much maintenance needed which interrupted our stay making it less relaxing than expected.
J & M were on to things quickly but one doesn't expect to see owners quite so much!
The property is grand and the location is perfect! It was exactly what we needed to accommodate my family and extended family. The theatre was great too, kept the kids busy and entertained.
Beautiful house, great communication, I let them know about a loose rock in their fireplace and how my aunties baby cracked one of their glasses, they were really lovely and easy to talk too
A Lovely big house and property, pool table and theatre room was a hit. Everything was super clean and i lovely the painting. I would have expected all the room to be furnished to the same modern standard, the room with the old furniture was a little off putting.
We had a wonderful time at Living Waters - the Theatre and Pool Table a particular highlight. Bedrooms are all very spacious, thank you for your hospitality!
We spent the weekend with 5 other couples to celebrate a big birthday. The large house gave us the opportunity to relax together, dine together and laugh together making a weekend full of special memories. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful property with lots of features. Check in process was a little tedious but somewhat understandable given the nature of the complicated systems that control the house. Overall we had a great time with 11 of us staying in comfort.
