About this property

Roo View- A little escape

Built in 2016, this tidy little getaway is perfect for couples or small families or 2 couples. 2 long single (aka split king) beds and kids toys are provided.

This cute little property is a 5 minute walk from Lake Victoria and a 5 minute drive from 90 Mile Beach, both are beautiful and great swimming spots. There are terrific BBQ areas in The Lakes National Park nearby and on the Lake Victoria foreshore. Kids may also enjoy visiting the local playground or skate bowl.

The provided portable air conditioner and heater are more than adequate for maintaining a comfortable temperature in the property, provided the aircon is switched on before it gets hot.

The property is fully fenced and pets are welcome to stay it is simply requested that guests clean up any mess that their fur babies make. Pet bowls are provided. Toilet trained pets only please.

While staying at this property you can feel free to bring records or your iPod to play, read, play board games, or choose to watch DVDs from the extensive video library. While linen and towels are not provided, we do offer other essentials such as tea, coffee and sugar.

Dog friendly getaway
My dog and I had a lovely stay at roo view, I did have to go buy a mosquito candle. The backyard was secure and my gsd enjoyed watching the kangaroos. It was clean comfortable and had good water pressure in the shower.

Great location walking distance to the lake and walking track, and a short drive to 90 mile beach. We had a lovely stay - the property is a basic beach house but really has everything you need. Very pet friendly with the fence surrounding and close to lots of dog friendly swimming and walk options.

Beautiful stay
We had a lovely stay, the house had everything we needed & more. Travelled with our 4 year old son and our fur baby perfect set up for our son and fully fenced for our dog which was great. We got to see kangaroos in the vacant lot everyday which was beautiful Great house if your travelling with kids and dogs. Thank you Definitely will stay again.

The bathroom was adequate decorum basic and cute would be good to have a smart tv to be able to use a hard drive the fridge a bit small but and other appliances adequate.We got there at 9.30 and needed our torch to find the key safe it took us 45 minutes to get into the house because it took a while to get the code for the key safe to open The location was convenient for me to visit my parents

This is a very comfortable little cottage, well appointed I must say however, they don't supply bathrooms towels. I found this quite strange, as they supplied everything else.We have stayed in many places, and haven;t experienced this before. Our stay however was lovely and very appreciated

This would be good for a family with little kiddies, the bunks in bedroom 2 are too small for adults but well suited to children. Caters well for the little ones, they would have so much to entertain them with toys and DVD's. Nice clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen

Autumn break
We had a lovely, quiet break. A comfortable ,fun beach house situated between both Lake and 90 mile beach. The style of fun decoration appealed to us, well equipped for us to self cater and look after ourselves most of the time. If we were staying longer we would have liked somewhere comfortable to sit outside. And yes we did have some lovely close up Roo views at early moring and dusk.

My family had a relaxing stay at this property, a lot of board games, movies, music and kids toys were available. We were able to go to the beach, come back and cook a meal and relax with a movie on. We also brought our 3 small dogs along, I like that it was all fenced in.

Great getaway spot
Exactly as described, comfortable modern property with secure fence for dog in a great secluded location. Only downside is limited phone/internet reception but there are a heap of DVD's on hand for entertainment at night. Wallabies could be seen in the empty lot next door and a few kookaburras on the fence as well. Close to 90 mile beach and 4WD track to nature walks. Great communication from host as well, highly recommend!!

WOW from parrots in the bottlebrush to kangaroo next door
We stayed at Roo View holiday house for 3 nights in July, this property was very clean and tidy nice on a quiet road. The Roo View is fully set up with everything you would need to feel at home. It has a full kitchen, laundry, 100’s of DVDs, record player, stacks of games to play and more. We have a great view of about 6 kangaroo just over the fence and parrots in the bottlebrush just waiting to have their photo taken. The fully enclosed yard was very safe for our dog that loved playing outside in the sunny yard. It is nice finding such a nice dog friendly holiday house we hope to go back again soon,

We found the movilibity rather difficult on the stone driveway for older visitors. Also we were disappointed in no outdoor facilities eg barbeque/sitting. The presentation of the property was excellent and very clean. A good stay.

Family Weekend
We will be return customers for sure! Everything was here, the kids were happy and communication with the owner made things easy! We enjoyed our weekend so very much! From the range of dvds to board games for the kids to stay entertained - to watching the kangaroos in the back paddock! It was just terrific. Great spot, great stay!
